Yes, it was an atrocious call and waterboarding sounds quite reasonable. That said - Now that we've had more and more athletes/money headed into soccer rather basketball/football/baseball for awhile it's inevitable that we're going to break through soon. As far as the babies crying about the waterboard joke ....Get a grip. Mal is one of the most kind hearted, compassionate, and hillarious guys I've ever met. On the pitch - So I guess Algeria comes out of their shell and we kick some tail ...too bad we have to wait so long. And I think the game against the Germans could very well be historic. We'll be big dogs, but it's almost time for us to pull the massive upset.
You are assuming they make it out of their group, that group is a mess and if Ghana wins 2morrow they have a strong shot at moving on. Also Serbia and Germany are tied going into the 3rd game and Germany plays a solid Ghana team and Serbia plays Australia...anything can happen in that group. If Australia pulls off the upset against Ghana then all teams go into the 3rd game with 3 points lol.
Lol, exactly. This was brought up on the Matt "I'm morbidly obese like all radio hosts" Thomas Show on 790. He makes a good point.
The call was horrible, but saying things like let's water board this ref just makes you and those that agree with you look ignorant.
You can't rely on the refs. USA fell behind early 2-0 they could have prevented this from even getting that far. SO no
