McHale should've benched Howard for his antics in the 2nd-3rd quarters. McHale got scared and allowed a frustrated Dwight to dictate the flow of the Rocket's game leading to turnovers and poor defense. There were so many plays when Dwight simply gave up when he didn't get the call going his way. Even racked up a technical with his crying. Like he said during the interview after the 1st quarter: "This team doesn't want to play. It's a mess. We're sluggish." His words may have been true but his actions were not, allowing the Bulls to build such a huge lead in the 3rd.
Do you really believe this? we have harden, the best sg in the game today. we have howard, the best center in the game. we have parsons, a top 5 sf. we have bev, the best defensive guard. and we have lin and asik off the bench, guys that contributed 2nd and 3rd most wins for a playoff team last year. we are winning because we have great talent on this team, and i would say we're playing at what is expected of the talent we have on the team. if we are ever to play as a unit greater than the sum of its parts, we'd be beating the clippers and okc 50% of the time or more. phoenix is a team that plays as a unit greater than the sum of its parts.
