Can we put a fork into the "it's china's fault" and "it's not Tilman's fault" takes?

Just as Trump has lost partners in China, Tilman, his supporter, isn't magically getting those investors back once the Morey news broke.

He prolly has to beg for them to come back.

Yep you're about to see a bunch of Landry's operated Rub'n tugs" full body spa" open up all over Houston soon!

I wonder if he got iPad at midnight treatment from the sixers. I think he deserves it.

Houston Rockets, not the Beijing NongFu Spring Rockets. The Rockets don't need to pander to China to be successful and besides, there will be Chinese fans no matter what. I'm not even FROM Houston and still think that it's an incredibly desirable city to live and work in, especially for athletes. As long as ownership doesn't acquire a horrible reputation, there will always be stars wanting to come play for the Rockets.

I also don't think the HK tweet was what directly led to Morey leaving--but as Clutch said earlier, no doubt it caused some friction and most likely played a part in his departure. I wish him well in Philly, and I hope he doesn't win a thing before the Rockets do :p

Both things can be true. Just because the Sixers hired Morey doesn’t mean the China incident didn’t have something to do with Tillman not wanting Morey.

Also I believe the Rockets had a bigger market in China since Yao was here. So the Rockets had more Chinese merchandise sold or sponsorship than the Sixers.

More than that it was Morey inability to be a yes-man for Tillman but the China thing did influenced it.

    good for Morey

Tilman kicking Morey out for China money is highly probable.

We'll know soon enough, truth always comes out.
