Tmac isn't even going to sniff the award. I mean, we would be bad without him, but in general you have to have the stats to back it up. Tmac doesn't have near the stats that a guy like Dirk does. And Dirks team is higher in the standings, which is another factor.

People define MVP differently. Either way, I agree TMac should be in the top 5 right now...IF he continues this through the end of the season. Cause his first 2 months weren't this type of play, so it'd take the rest of the season to give him a legit case.

But yes, this early. It's *almost* the All Star break. We haven't even hit the beginning of the third trimester of the season.

More than now I guess I was referring to the chants I've been hearing since December for Arenas, Kobe, Dirk, Nash in their respective arenas. Still too early imo.

(haha, I'm an idiot. just realized Gilbert Arenas is the same spelling as the plural of an NBA arena)

Do it tonight since we're on Nat'l tv. Maybe it will bring more national attention to T-Mac and they will start seriously including him in the discussion. I put him ahead of Phonie #24 and Agent 0. If Nash doesn't win it, as much I hate to say it, Dirk should.

NOOOOOO!!! DID YOU NOT SEE THE DALLAS GAME?!?! We (everyone but me) did that during the 4th quarter, & McGrady missed both of his free throws. He can't take the pressure! SHUT UP when your team is shooting free throws. SERIOUSLY! Do you not know the rules of being a fan? You only make noise when the other team is at the free throw line. Please, someone needs to teach fan etiquette at Toyota Center. The crowd was so dead until the 4th quarter when it was one of the most exciting games of the season and it was on national TV, and once the crowd finally got going in the 4th quarter, they didn't know when to shut up! I appreciate the effort, but you need to know when to scream your lungs out and when to zip it.

Oh sorry, I didn't notice that this thread was posted before the Dallas game. But yeah, no MVP chanting for McGrady. He crumbles under pressure at the free throw line.
