Yes we can but not the same as Phoenix ! It will have to be the Rockets fast break version of the game. We will of course need a general remake of the team and it will take about two or three offseasons to get the new team together. It all depends on us gettinga true playmaker Point Guard and athletic scorers. Several stars will have to be traded! By the time we have the team together it most likely will be about the time to move Adleman on for a younger coach.

its not that we are going to be a fast break team like gs or phoenix but rather we want to push the ball up unlike what we have been doing this past season. sure 1 or 2 games with fast break tempo doesnt make your team a fast break team.

im thinking we would be like the spurs, they fast break with TD in the game hes the trailer, but if nothings there they pull it out and play half court. thats where yao is effective.

Yes. Rockets can play up tempo. for 5 minutes a game.

Remember a good coach won't run one tempo to death. Adelman is not a stupid coach. JVG is. (Mr. uni-dimension)

its not about being up tempo with adelman, its more about running an efficient offense that creates easy baskets.
I don't believe portland ever ran an uptempo offense very much. they had big guys like kersey, duckworth, and buck williams that would hammer the glass.

im pretty sure adelman can be flexible with his offense. He did it from portland to sacramento.

can't run up-tempo without real point guard and Yao playing center.

He will be at one end of the court...everyone else at the other.

what remains to be seen?? it's crystal clear Yao can't be a much better rebounder than he is now. if he could, we'd be in the wcf now.
