I know Giannis is probably going to win, but I still would like to track the votes/news. Can we have a thread summarizing all the relevant information?

As far as I know, voters that have publicly said that they would vote for Giannis are:
    • Chris Broussard, Brian Windhorst, Vincent Goodwill, Reggie Miller
Harden doesn't have a vote yet. Any other decided votes?

I don't speak for everyone but I don't need "voters" to tell me what an "MVP" is. I think for myself and I know exactly who my MVP is.

Don’t need one. It’s over. Harden might get 6 first place votes.

Someone is doing a list on reddit. Giannis appears to have a big lead.

Thanks for the information. I am surprised that the difference is so large. I thought it can be at least closer than the Harden-Westbrook year.

It's a sham that Miller gets a vote. He can't even pronounce Giannis' last name. I remember him calling Morey 'Murley' one night. Turrbil.

It will be like the 2015 Curry/Harden year where we all thought it would be close and Curry won 70% of the vote. I am firmly expecting that here. Might even be 80%.

The numbers weren't round enough. Probably would have edged him out if he had averaged 40 points a game. Forget about that points per 100 possessions that he's #1 all-time in.

Symptom of groupthink. A lot of voters seem to be taking the temperature of the group and then trying to vote with the consensus, instead of everyone just voting their own minds and letting them be counted. You would think that, even if Giannis won in the end, this would be a year with a very split vote. Both guys have strong arguments. That there'd be consensus tells me the voters don't know for themselves.

You might as well throw up already then. The race is over.

Giannis gets 20 out of the 26 declared votes, so it's between 75%-80%. I can't say I am not surprised by the difference even though I already know how little love Harden gets from the media.

Yup, looks about right. I expect that percentage to carry.

I'm not even going to get emotions going this year. This is just Westbrook/Curry first year all over again. Harden clearly the MVP, yet, all the negative and biased non-sense just keep pouring in.
