Other than Chris Paul and Steve Nash, who else would you rather have this season? I think Billups definitely has a case as being the third best PG in the league.

we still need another triple threat player besides t-mac to prevent our offense from stalling.

    rafer can't shoot
    head can't penetrate / pass
brooks is too green and mistake prone
    shane can't penetrate
    bonzi has no outside jumper

with that we have the potential to go all the way - not this year.

If everyone is healthy, we will go as far as Rafer takes us. If he gives us a respectable 45% from the field and 38% or so from 3, keeps the turnovers down, and plays solid D, we can go very, very far. If he don't we'll stumble around the first round, may get out, but somebody will knock us out in the 2nd round.

A big IF at this point..........

Yes we can, all the team has to do is keep building the chemistry, and people continue to settle into their roles.

If the Rockets get out of the first round, I think they can catch fire and go all the way. They are a deeper and more versatile team this year. Their defense is still really good and we are seeing flashes of a truly good offensive team. I think that they will be underdogs in just about every series, but if everybody's healthy they could be a handful. I am especially encouraged that Bonzi Wells seems to be on the upswing. When he drives to the basket and imposes his will, he's a really nice option off the bench.

Last time I checked, our best 3p shooter(SB) ranks 45th in the league. We are not going anywhere coming into playoff time when T-Mac and Yao get doubled/trippled all night long. :(

We can match up with any team I dont think matchup probs are as big of an issue as before since RA is much better at using the bench than JVG. Yao will be in if he can contribute and if not RA uses the Fowards lineup.

To get far we need Tmac to get the killer instinct in full effect and work on 4th quarter composure that's it and we dominate...oh and teach novak how to stick to his man and work for open shots

I wish Rockets can pass first round wall this season, anything from that point is lottery.

Can we go all the way? Of course we *can*. Is it likely? No, but we can always hope!

I believe we are good enough to get to the western conference finals, we are getting better as the year goes on by the end of the year deep down inside we all will know what we are capable of as a team. If we were in the east it would be easier to say we can get to the finals right now, being in the west is different. If Tracy would get back to the form he was when the season started then hell yeah we are definitely dangerous and can get to the finals. Kobe also mentioned us as a conternder today on espn.

Said it last season before the last fan had left the TC after Game 7 with the Jazz. If any 2 of 3 of Hayes, Alston and Battier are starting, they are another 1st round exit.

I like Scola and Wells and I've warmed up to the drafting of Brooks and Landry. But the Rockets still don't have the fire power and overall team athleticism IMHO.

At this point, I don't think the Rockets advance even past the first round without home court advantage. Too many good teams this year.

I guess it's good that the Rockets are a good road team.
