I think if we can't bring back 'Cisco and Delfino, we need to sign Marco Belinelli and Matt Barnes to replace Delfino and Garcia. Maybe we can sign Aaron Gray for depth at the center position.

    Would $1m make a difference?

Before June 30th, we can waive him down to $0 cap hit.

After June 30th, when his contract becomes fully guaranteed, we can still wait to talk to Howard (to gain more assurance of him signing ,possibly), then use the Stretch Provision to release Delfino and reduce his cap hit to $1m (albeit, for each of the next three years). Is it worth hit, to wait to release Delfino, until we have more assurances?

Non guaranteed can be traded between end of season and june 30, team option can't. Garcia had a team option, Delfino non guaranteed (thats why Garcia's option was denied already), as for would $1m make a difference? yes, a high side salary cap might give us enough room to sign someone for 2.5-3m before the room exception on top of dwight, a low side cap may leave us needing to release someone else.

Or trade Brooks and/or Delfino before June 30 to the Hawks or T-Wolves for their unguaranteed contracts.

    Atlanta: Stevenson (Jan 10, 2014), Scott (Aug 15), Mack (Jan 10, 2014)

Minnesota: Roy (unspecified date), Stiemsma (Jul 17), Gelabale (Jul 22)

You guys gotta admit...Delfino won us a lot of games this year with his clutch shots that were much needed when Harden couldn't get it going.

I think it was Feigen who pointed out Delfino had the same injury that ended Yao's career and others. Anyhow, Morey needs more unguaranteed contracts available to him during free agency for more options.

Why don't we waive White. If anyone deserves it, it's him.

That would be nice, but his contract is still guaranteed for one more year so might as well let him help the Vipers go to the D-League championships again and then waive him or trade him next year.

Also I like D3lfino, but due to his nagging injury his shot suffered before they sat him down completely. No way to know how he will come back so Morey will do the safe thing and decline his option I would reckon. Then I would do like other have said and try to reacquire Garcia for a more team friendly price. I'd give Garcia the money because he could be a potential 6th man coming off the bench with his deadly quick 3 point shot and as we saw in the playoffs solid defense against big time talent.

Can't forget about Del3ino & Garcia's Contributions on BOTH ends of the court.

With some more Key additions, I say Keep these type of players & Role Model Vets at all costs even if you have to pay a penalty as Winning especially in the post season increases revenue and profits substantially which typically also increases the value of the franchise.
