I just don't want to play Utah. They take sooo much out of you whenever you play them. You're bruised and battered by the next round and they'll never go anywhere anyway.

Your opinion only. I'm not scared of the Jazz at all, bring them on.

i am not scared of beating the jazz if they actually played basketball.

but the problem is their flopping, whining, biased reffing, irritating fans.

    Can we? Yes

Is it a high chance as playing Portland, Denver, Mavericks.. No

I am seriously tired of facing the j*zz, we've played them twice already, even if we beat them twice, I still wouldnt wanna face them, it gets annoying to face the same team multiple times. Plus they make Yao and Shane Battier useless, and the reason I say Shane Battier is since he is almost invisible on the offensive end, who does he have to defend? If we played Portland, Denver or Mavericks he could defend Roy, Melo or Josh Howard, but if we play the j*zz he will be on guys like Ronnie Brewer, AK47, etc, and our strength is at the wings, so the better the wings, the higher the chance we have of beating the team.

With that being said, Bring on Denver, Portland, Mavericks, Suns, either way I am happy and feel REALLY GOOD about the 2nd round.

If we're going to advance deep into the Playoffs we're likely going to play the Jazz regardless whether it be in the first round or second round. Running from them or trying to avoid them is not the solution. You gotta man up and be able to knock them the F out. Last year we we're under-manned and it was basically Mcgrady vs. the Jazz (Scola, Landry and Brooks were all rookies. Yao was out, Battier was hobbled, Alston missed two games and we almost pushed them to 7. This time we should have 0 reason as to why we not only beat them but punish them.

I really hope we do, but we all know it'll be going to a game 7 if we are to go on to the second round. Our team, even though big networks will not admit, is one of the most exciting all around team in the NBA. Why? Simply because we have a deep team without using superstar names. Our bench is of the chain mayne!!!!

We probably could have beat them last year if Rafer was healthy.

This year in the first round, I don't want to see them. Like others have said even if it was a slam dunk, I'd hate for us to start our post season with them again. Shoot I am sure every Rockets player feels the same, screw Utah, they are like squeaky brake pads when you pull up in front of a girl you are about to take her out. Even if she gets in the car at that point (or in this case we get home court) she will have a bad impression of you for the whole date.

I don't think we can. The Dream led rox won game 6 in 93, then lost 16 in a row to seattle including a sweep in 96. Sometimes a team just has your number. They could play the game in kuwait and jazz would probably still win.

    Yes!

This year we added a warrior with strong and brave heart! Did you all remember we won Utah last game!
And Lwy also strong enough to struggle against Deron.

I wouldn't go as far as to say "Hell yes!" but I think we could take 'em.

I also hope we don't have to find out.

    hell no....

anyone without homer goggles on knows we should be praying we don't have to see them in the first round.

last year's team with a healthy rafer had a better chance of beating them than this year's team IMO.

The Jazz are the anti-Rockets. They are Rockets Krytonite. They are the Moby Dick to our Ahab.

Looks like 70% are delusional enough to think we can beat this team in a 7 game series.

Isn't that insanity? Expecting different results with the same variables? CHANGE THE DAMN VARIABLES. Play someone else in the 1st round. I'd rather play the Lakers with Bynum than Utah.

No way. Jazz has a system working well. Everyone follows the game plan. Rockets have too many players who cannot control themselves.
