So much people rather keep Vspan than JVG. I thought all Rockets fans wanted us to win. It's obvious to them that Vspan is the key to a title. I mean, he is the European McGrady, and he did say basketball is basketball. I guess Pietrus is the greatest of all time.

I really needed a good laugh. I had no idea so much people are this stupid.

I honestly feel a little bit dumber after reading each of your posts. It's about time to put you on ignore and focus on posts that actually say things besides, "Dude! JVG sucks. Fire him. Bonzi is our best player. He is an all-star!"

    ;)

LOL! A lot of yall are pretty heated about the anti Vspan comments... I was semi-kidding! When he is out there he looks completely lost. But I have said it before, when we are down big early and no one can hit (which happens 3-5 times month) then he should come in. He has been a spark before and is a nice change of pace. Throws off the opponents defensive scheme.

Calm down. At least I didnt say something about Vince Young. Yall would have my ass hanging from the Transco in 15min max.

I understood what you were saying, but not why you came to that conclusion. Basically, you are saying there are more VSpan extremists than there are JVG extremists. Most just want the year to work itself out with both of them.

No, it is not a surprise because JVG is a known commodity (good and bad) and VSpan is unknown and seen as full of potential. Human nature always thinks the grass is greener on the other side. Additionally, a lot of people might just want JVG gone in general and don't care about VSpan - there have been people who hated him since he has been here.

My point was that the poll overall is not 75% for JVG to go.

For some reason this line has me cracking up. Its like a line out of a movie or comic book. I could just imagine Batman killing someone then the scene flashes to the butler who says "let the cold war between Batman and Commisioner Gordon begin"... Sorry. Couldnt help it.

I don't think people really care about Vspan.

I just don't think people like JVG. I admit he is an above average coach, but it doesn't mean I like him. If all I cared about was winning, I would be a bandwagen spurs fan and read box scores.

JVG just isn't likeable and plays a boring brand of basketball. When the team isn't contending, there isn't any other redeeming quality.

I hope we pick up Adelman after this season.

While I'm not a big fan of JVG, he's a good coach that has taken this team to the playoffs with excellent D. You've got to trust his analysis of VSPAN. VSPAN may be a good player one day, but he's both turnover & foul prone. Let VSPAN earn his playing time through practice and in-game performance. I'm sure an injury is on the way which will necessitate playing VSPAN...

Why Adelman? I agree JVG isn't the best coach in the NBA or anything, but all Adelman did in his tenure with Sacramento was basically take one of the most talented rosters of the era to the playoffs, only to lose time and time again.

That's a complaint people throw at JVG all the time.

Serious question as to why you want Adelman, not trying to be argumentative...just curious

If Yao and TMac are both healthy and playing well this is a non issue!

Believe me- you would not find a Van Gundy Hater if Yao was healthy because we would be top 3 in the league and flying high right now.

this JVG infatuation people have is just r****ded.

the rockets are just about exactly where most thought the rockets would be and that assumption was based on a healthy team, which the rockets have been far from.

people need to pull their head out of their blind JVG hater asses and smell the f-ing roses. coaching is not this teams problem...and thats a fact.

    ok, im done venting.

or can be said If JVG stops acting like a jerk and start coaching instead of being a dictator. He should get over the fact that he has not receive an extension offer.

so true. JVG hasnt coached all year.

and, jvg is obviously way too concerned about contract negotiations.

jvg should stop stepping on kittens and punching young single-pregnant mothers in the stomach too.
