After nearly 20 years of service from both Malone & Stockton the Jazz owe it to these players to spend big time moolah for a team of contenders not fillers. Brand & Miller & a centre are needed however much it costs the Jazz should pay.

    wtf ever.

Jazz don't have **** to offer for Brand. Kiri? puh leeze.

    No ****ing chance Jazzholes.

maybe in the offseason they can get him if they have cap space, but I doubt it, since there will be more appealing teams with a ton of cap space.

    No swearing puh leeze!!!
Hey, actually trading players like Brand for Kirilenko/Griffin would really fit Donald Sterling, since he's never paid anyone with max. Both Griffin and Kirilenko have two and half years left in his contract, so they can play cheap for a cheap owner. And, I am not sure about Griffin, but Kirilenko is gonna be an all-star for sure. His energy, blocking skill, shooting skill and attitude will make him an all-star. This guy is a stud.

wtf ever. Miles fit the mold of a young cheap player with a world more potential than Kiri, and he gave him up for someone he will have to pay $$$ for if he wants to keep him. If you think they'd trade Brand for just a less than Miles-type player then ur fuggin stupid.

Kiri is not locked to be an all-star, he isn't even locked to be a friggin starter. W/o stockton there to run the show he's just another role-player.

but i digress, even your weak ass article says nothing about trading for brand, it talks about getting them in the OFFSEASON, in FREE AGENCY. Why? Because the Jazz have nothing to offer to the calibur of Brand. Not quality, nor quantity. Only $$$ could get Brand to Utah, and not even that, cuz a lot of teams will be dishing out $$$ for his services.

OK, since you are a getto boy, let me pretend to be one too. WTF, ASS, FUGGIN, B!TCH, ****... whew, do I fit your style now, BROTHA?

OK, now I can conclude, YOU ARE A MORON!!! Have you watched Kirilenko play? Have you seen the minutes he got? Have you seen his shots? Have you seen his cuts and energy? Do you know he's one of the most effective shot-blocker in the league? Have you seen his stats? How in the world can you conclude he's not good without watching him play? People all over ESPN are amazed by this guy on Fastbreak Tuesday, have you seen that?

BTW, where did I say Utah is trading for Brand? I said Utah is making a run at Brand. You got an ulcer in your eyes? Read my original post, and get educated before you say dumb things like that.

Oh my, too much time have been wasted on you. Go ahead and swear more, that's enough for me.

Give me a break. When Stockton was 35, everyone was like...

Yeah, but it's ok because it's their last year in the playoffs. Stockton and Malone are getting old.

If we could somehow acquire a first round pick to trade in the offseason, we have the best chance at getting Brand.

Rice + Griff + First rounder for Elton Brand

Sterling gets a 10M expiring contract, a HIGH potential PF prospect with a small ocntract, and a pick.

Can the Jazz do better? If Stockton and Malone are gone, what do they offer? Do you think that Brand would accept going to the Jazz if his agent tell him that he can joint he Rockets and play for a contender?

u calling me a moron? that's funny from someone who didn't even know where "clutch" came from. yes. yes. yes. yes. didn't say he wasn't good, just not a stud. I have seen him play. Fastbreak tue is full of dip****s and what they have to say doesn't affect me one way or the other. And using them as a reference is just sad.

BTW, where did I say Utah is trading for Brand? I said Utah is making a run at Brand. You got an ulcer in your eyes? Read my original post, and get educated before you say dumb things like that.

gee, it's only what this friggin whole thread is about, that the rox and jazz are competing for Brand. Lemme see, the only way the rox will get Brand is thru trade, most likely b4 the trade deadline. The only way the Jazz are going to get Brand is in the offseason, most likely thru fagency. So if the rox are trying to trade for him, the they ARENT competing with the friggin Jazz to aquire him.

so what we have, yet again, is another thread by you about the spazzholes that deserves to be in the nba dish, since it has nil to do with the rox.

Oh my, too much time have been wasted on you.

    feeling is mutual buddy.

(picking up the megaphone) - CriscoKidd send him home!!!! Send him home "BROTHA"!!!!

    Jazz suck!...............YAO MING-YAO MING-YAO MING-YAO MING.......YAO MING.......YAO MING....

I love the Rockets!!!!! That is all...(putting down the megaphone)..

BTW, If my vote counts, I'd rather the Rockets have Brand than not, and I vote against the Jazz having Brand. I love Griffin (favorite current Rocket...*eternal optimist*), but I wouldn't mind seeing #42 banging down low!!!

Utah is rocking right now (tied with Minnesota for the fifth place in the West), and the Jazz has a tendency to really come off in the second half of the season. The fans here in Utah are discussing the possibility of another championship run. They are actually pushing for a trade for Ilzauskas with Ostertag, Collins, Amaechi and a first round pick. You can go to ESPN's trade rumors for validation. Anyway, the Jazz is a scary team. If they do get Z...      The rockets better try to kick off the Suns from the playoff brackets.
