Maybe @basso should look at a bill sponsored by a Democrat with co-sponsors from both parties to reform FISA regarding domestic surveillance by the FBI and the NSA, dating back to 2017. I don't recall anyone here bringing that up since 2017. It seems to have taken an FBI investigation into Trump to trigger concern.
You wanna pay me my hourly rate? It's an opinion piece. Does the FBI lie? Have the been sloppy? Yes and Yes. Is that something new? No. You can write this article in the 1930's, 40's 50's 60's 70's 80's 90's 00's 10's and you can write it now. Nothing has really changed. The FBI is far far from perfect. But it's also not useless. Not as corrupt and lost as he makes it out to be.
