PG: Lowry/Dragic/Flynn SG: Lee/Dragic/T-Will SF: Budinger/T-Will/Forbes PF: Scola/Hill/Adrien C: Camby/Dalembert/Thabeet Players 14-15 Brockman, Livingston
This team cannot beat those guys because a team with Kyle, Dragic, and Scola would be too much this young team can handle. Plus that team has Dalembert and Camby, who are capable of controlling the middle while this year's team only has Amer who is very limited on the offensive end.
That sounds reasonable. Question, though. You argue that the current roster cannot beat the team listed in the OP -- doesn't it logically follow that the upcoming season will not be as good as 2011-12 record of .515? I think those two things are logically related. In which case, you're saying the upcoming season will be below .500. (You can say .515 did not reflect the talent on that team bc of Lowry's injury and so on) but it sounds to me you are saying we aren't coming close to breaking break .500 in the upcoming season. Sounds dire. I'm more hopeful than that going into the season. Maybe that's just hopefulness though.
There something i cant understand. And cant find the games in utube. Why this team had lost and all last 7 games. Last season? All played in Toyota Center.
If what most are saying the current roster can not beat this team, then maybe I should cancel my league pass
So what you are really asking (thread title) is whether we are better than last year. I would make the comparison like comparing two players. Last year (player A) was experienced and likely to give you a more consistent game. This years team (player B) is pretty raw, but perhaps has a higher ceiling. So when player B becomes as good as player A depends on when and if his ceiling gets realized.
Nice  I think I agree. It seems pretty even to me. We'll just have to wait until pre-season to have a better idea.
Uhh what team is this exactly?? This looks like some amalgamation of the 2010-2011 (Hill, Thabeet, T-Will (lulz)), 2011-2012 (Camby, Adrien), and 2012-2013 (Forbes?) rosters... all while leaving out KMart, Chandler, and Parsons??
Who cares, I want the team with young pieces who can grow. I bet the Thunder in 08 would get beat by our team last year but I'd much prefer the team with an actual future.
