Nah, some players can't be helped. Can't shoot, can't handle, not much this guy can do on the offensive end and his defense isn't good enough to play him. GSW HAS to play him in hopes of some team biting though. Good luck to them.
Harden deserved the MVP over Westbrook, but I don't know about Giannis. A resume of 2 MVP's and 3 scoring titles doesn't change Harden's legacy at all. At this point, only a championship can do that. It's hard to argue that Harden deserves votes for all-defense when the Rockets try to hide him on the defensive end.
Harden led the NBA in raptor, vorp, and i think rpm. Winning 60 games isnt some big achievement, there have been multiple teams that have won 60 games in the SAME season. Harden should have won mvp, and would have won mvp if steph curry had that season
And they love to talk about him, the obsession by Morey should be gone by now. System players do damage in a system full of equally good players. The Spurs had Duncan, Gino and TP but they had a good system. Gino and Parker weren't even scoring close to what star guards would average today.
westbrick has the lowest iq among "SUPERSTARS" in the nba, and harden's gravity helped westbrook have highest shooting season in his career. Wiggins would feast next to harden, as would dangelo russell
Wiseman has better measurable than Clint, and is more athletic. Wiseman would get an easy 14 ppg a game just from running pick and roll. Wiseman is really a pick and roll big like drummond
All this debate will end when GSW doesnt even make the playoffs this year. West is too deep and Curry is way in over his head.
The Bucks were the only team to win 60+ games in 2019. It would've been nice if Harden won the MVP, but you can't blame the voters for picking Giannis.
Capela averaged 14ppg a few times. Not an all-star. I know I'm being nit-picky, but I find hyperbole to be annoying.
the bucks also had the easiest strength of the schedule that year, catching a lot of teams on back 2 back and 4 games in 5 nights
Da****? Whose mans is this? You got all of that by 1 half of basketball by a 19 year old? Seems legit.
wasnt deandre jordan an all-star before, capela if he followed up that 2018 playoff run with an improvement in 2019 he might have got in, but he would have had to be voted in
