Yes, Curry can't carry a team, it's pretty obvious by now. BUT, I want GSW to win games. I don't want them getting ANOTHER top 5 pick again. Let them win enough games to be the 9th-12th best team in the West. I'd be fine with them getting a 7 or 8 seed and getting crushed in the first round. I do not want Curry faking another injury and then they tank fro a top 5 pick.
I watched the game he was hurt in, not that it matters because it was only a matter of time until he was hurt because he is frail and cannot carry a heavy load. He needs to be surrounded by elite players.
Normally I would agree with you but a lot of basketball people have been talking about it. He will ultimately be remembered as a great system player that played well with but also needed to be surrounded by great players.
Probably 6/8 years Harden has been on the Rockets if you had switched Curry for Harden the Rockets would not have even gotten into the playoffs.
Yeah Curry wouldnt feud with every star teammate. Thats cuz his ankles would give halfway through the season given the load he would have to carry. Both Draymond and Klay are off the ball shooters and scorers I highly doubt Harden would clash with those he'd prob fit in better than Curry cuz he would fill the "KD" role without needing KD. You're overrating Draymond Green. He was an elite defender who benefited tremendously on offense from Curry/Thompson. He's not an off-ball shooter/scorer. Would he be an all-star in a different offensive system that didn't artificially inflate his assist numbers? And you don't think Harden would feud with Draymond Green? Are you insane? Also, given the fact that Durant wanted to play with Curry, I think Morey would have no problem surrounding Curry with excellent teammates.

Whether or not Curry is a superstar is a tricky question. Was AD a superstar in New Orleans? Most people at the time would say "no". But now, he's an undisputed superstar. Like AD, Curry needs good teammates to unlock his superstardom. Curry led the Warriors to the playoffs when Draymond Green was a rookie coming off the bench. Curry was the engine of an offense that Durant wanted to join. It's silly to think Morey wouldn't be able to surround prime Curry with complementary pieces.
