Can Someone Tell Me Why The Hell charles barkley Hates Us SO Much?

As I implied from the OP, Barkley he thinks the Hornets can make it to the WCF? Well they never have as of yet (just like Houston), and anyone who's kept up with the Rockets knows health is the only reason we haven't been out of the 1st round.

I watched the entirety of Game 6 in 1997. The last 5 minutes or so of our collapse is on Youtube. Would you like to see it?

Health is important, so is it our excuse? What if Chris Paul or Kobe were hurt? etc

Thats fine, but even when we're playing well this idiot talks $#!+. Remember the streak? We were supposed to get blown out every game. We weren't good enough to hang with the lakers and all that.

I know thats the regular season, but how can you not understand that shows how good this team can be?

Injuries. thats the biggest thing. I like that some SELECTIVELY forget this. A couple years back, we played dallas well then lost starting point Sura. This past year we won with Rafer, lost without.

I agree we have to prove it, that doesn't mean I enjoy hearing some jack@ss who never won a ring constantly diss my team. Listening to his fat @ss you would think we're a lottery team.

Still all the dude does is dog us. At least other teams occasionally gets good points about them raised, but not us. The only time he said anything nice was when Tracy called him out on national TV. Even then its like he was forced.

Kenny isn't constantly singing our praises, but at least he's objective.

 

I think it is a matter of the type of ball Charles likes to watch.....while Kenny can understand winning ugly.

I used to think Barkley is full of crap...

But the truth is he is right... just look at the rockets' playoff performances.

Barkley is still angry at the Rockets for going cheap on him. Supposedly we promised him some sort of bonus in his contract and Les backed out on him. He's called out Les on TNT multiple times.

He's never gotten over it. Probably because he might actually need the money now considering how much he has lost from gambling.

 

Charles was a great player. gave the Rockets a discount for a chance at glory. if yah can't appreciate that your Rocket cred will always be questioned.

as an analyst, well he's piss poor, but a nice comedic sideshow. in his defense, he has many funny moments. kissing the donkey's ass after declaring Yao's failure pretty much sums up his utility.

gottah be crazy to place any credibility on Chuck's buffoonery. really, "Barkley breaks down the NBA by analysis" ... thats fool's gold.

This is by far the best comment on this thread. I cant believe people here are agreeing with Charles Barkley. God I swear people on this site treat Barkley like hes royalty or something. I mean I like him to and everything but the way he beats down the Rockets is ridiculous. He's saying they wont make it to the WCF PERIOD. I dont know about you guys but I know the Rockets have a DAMN good chance of making it there.
