Can Someone Tell Me Why The Hell charles barkley Hates Us SO Much?

Les Alexander shafted Charles from some millions back in the day. Don't worry about it, just tune him out when he starts talking about us. If we win the championship again some day (hopefully before he croaks), he'll call it a down year and start ragging on the diminished skills and work ethic of the young players "these days". That's just the way things work.

 

Barkley has a lot of reasons to hate Houston. Our franchise went down hill while he was there. It's an ego thing. He wants Houston to always be worse than they were when he was there. Plus, Barkley hates us because we beat him in the playoffs during his best shots at winning a championship. The spit is really a compliment.

 

Yao proved him wrong, we all know what he did.

Yeah, right. Overall, we need to stay healthy. It's a bit earlier to say that we can beat the Lakers. But with everyone staying healthy, I would like to take a bet on the Rockets.

If we dont make a big change with our roater later on, I would expect T-mac to come back strong. If he could give 80% of his best, I think we would be a hell of a team.

the hornets, the spurs, and the jazz certainly have not looked any better than we have, so why would they have a chance at the finals and we wouldn't?

we have a lot to prove and he's certainly entitled to his opinion which i couldn't care less about, but i think it's hilarious when "fans" think it's cool to jump on

Here's a newsflash for you: we haven't been out of the first round in over a decade. Due to this long-standing state of irrelevance, the only basis upon which one could project us as having serious playoff success this year is our play up to this point. In case you haven't noticed, we haven't been exactly stellar thus far.

I cant believe there are so many Rocket "fans" agreeing with him. Barkley is such an unintelligent idiot, I cant believe anyone actually listens to him, let alone Rocket fans.

If a person said nonsense about the Celtics, we would all call him an idiot. If a person said nonsense about the Kobe, we would all call him an idiot. If a person said nonsense about Duncan, we would all call him an idiot.

The difference is that Yao, McGrady, and the Rockets in general haven't done anything that matters! So Sir Charles can talk all he wants and we can't respond because he's fundamentally right. There is only one way to shut him up, but that isn't likely going to happen because Yao is Yao, McGrady is McGrady and the rest of the Rockets are, well, the rest of the Rockets.

I disagree with you. I think we have a better chance beating a SA team with half court offense than the Jazz with their length and athleticism. Yao can't guard Okor, Rafer can't guard Williams, their youngs Brewer company give us fits. In general the Jazz is a more deciplined team than us and don't forget the disapearance of Head vs. one and not the other.
