Can someone please tell why Juwan Howard has not played a game?

He's learning how to warm the bench for the upcoming season.

 

Will Howard be traded? I sure hope the Rockets are looking at trading Howard but what can the Rockets get in return. Only teams the Rockets can probably get something going could be the Lakers(Mihm) or Blazers(Miles). I will be happy with either.

 

dude, tats exxactly what i was thinking. van gundy should also know what to expect from mutombo if tat 'what to expect' argument hold true. besides, i think that what to expect doesn't make sense considering JVG would want to know how howard fit into the team as the center and with different role players. check out his stats last yr, howard did play.

i think we're all confused. i do hope howard will work well as the backup center b/c mutombo is too old. the converse argument is that jvg really do know wht to expect from howard, he just has to play yao and mac with the role players because he needs those role players to get a feel of playing alongside yao and mac. he need those role players, especially those new role players, to learn how to complement yao. check out luther head. he, along with howard, didn't play in game one. this seems to suggest that JVG want the new players to fit in with yao and mac.

My thought is.............where are all of you Juwan supporters now? This had to happen for us to get significantly better.

 

Howard will play I have no doubt.... But I think he is the 8th or 9th guy in the rotation.

Personally, I would rather have Novak, and Battier with a dose of Hayes. Leaving Juwon at a few minutes a game and mostly to be a back up center, in a small matchup.

BUT.........

I think that Howard will be out there some with Bonzi. He hits the 18 footer and so he will probably play more than I would like.

 

So basically you're saying anything is possible????
