Can someone explain to me why Mayweather and Pacman...

    I've always seen his highlights and man are they impressive. My lack of knowledge makes me ask, "were his opponents worth mentioning?" Just an honest question.

    he's barely 20 and has some impressive stats on his resume 33-1-0

    I like that Saul Alvarez kid. Saw him on the Mayweather Mosley undercard. Look liked he was getting tagged early by Cotto then he turned it up won handily.

    One of the knocks on Roy was that he did not fight the best fighters of his day. Much the same as Mayweather. Roy in his prime was a joy to watch. He just had to figure out where the opponents head was going to be at a particular time and he would invent a punch to get to it.

    As it often happens with boxers, he got old all at once. Once the reflexes slowed down a touch, his style would not work and he did not know how to fight any other way.

    Who were the best fighters in his day at SMW/LHW that he avoided? Not really a hugely deep division.
