Liked Friends a lot but only really watched it as my sister bought the seasons on DVD. I got up to about season 6 and kinda lost interest, I guess. I was never a fan of Seinfeld until I started catching re-runs late at night. I eventually started to like it quite a bit, but I don't watch it regularly or anything. Overall, I'd say I really enjoy both of them. Nothing more, nothing less.
I liked the early season of Friends because Jennifer Aniston looked cold all the time. I didn't like the early season of Seinfeld because I hated George too much. I flipped flopped for the later seasons on both shows.
I loved both shows because both were good shows, albeit for different reasons. I probably ended up more of a friends fan though. If those are both both overrated...then what isn't?
Hate them both. The Seinfeld characters are scums, and the Friends characters are wusses. May be if they switch half the cast from one show to the other show, and vice versa, it would balance each other out and neither will suck as bad.
I detest Friends for a multitude of reasons. Seinfeld is not bad in small doses.. but ultimately overrated
Agreed.I liked seinfeld, but Friends is one of my favorite comedy's ever. Only Fawlty Towers is better.
I wished I would have gotten into Seinfeld more when it first came out. That happened with Friends and I think that's why I like Friends more. As for the Simpsons-or-Family-Guy thing, I used to hate Family Guy because I guess I was "loyal" to the Simpsons since I practically grew up w/ them. But lately, I'll watch Family Guy. Sure the LPE (laughs per episode) isn't as high, but it's not all bad.
it's all in fun, it reminds me of that deleted scene in Pulp Fiction where Mia Wallace is explaining Vincent Vega that you're either a Beatles person or an Elvis person but not both.
