    I've always hated Friends but I could tolerate Seinfeld in small doses, I know this sounds crazy, but IMO Jerry Seinfeld was hurting the show.. Larry David does a much better job with Curb not only acting, but the writing seems much better then it did with Seinfeld..

    I was talking about Friends. I know what you mean. I watched the first episode of Seinfeld the other day online and it was pretty terrible. It made the finale conversation in the cell make sense though...

    ah, i misunderstood.

    i agree entirely on friends. the first two seasons were the best, i think. they had instant chemistry that takes most shows a while to develop.

    Seinfeld is waaay better to me. I don't mind Friends if there's nothing else on. I actually liked the latter Friends' episodes where the humor was more quirky and not really based in reality (also why I liked the latter Seinfeld epsidoes).

    I liked Friends, But it is not even close to Seinfeld. Seifled is the best sitcom ever, period. :D

    Cool theory. I have the same theory about "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy." I believe if you are a fan of either show you cannot be a fan of the other. I love "The Simpsons," but I can't stand "Family Guy."

    I grew up loving the Simpsons and it will always be one of my favorite shows, but after watching Family Guy I have to admit it is funnier. But I love them both and don't see why you can't. Family Guy wouldn't be on the air without the influence of the Simpsons.

    Everyone I know loves both. Family Guy is funnier now but the Simpsons was simply the best show ever and FG would not even exist without it.
