Hill does have a jumpshot, you can tell by looking at his FT shooting. He just needs to practice it more so that he can employ it more in the game.

With more practice and experience with this team and the return of yao, scola and hill are towards the bottom of the Rockets worries. Backup center is the biggest priority imho. As far as the draft is concerned they should take best player available.

they don't have to be dominate, all you need is good all-star center like Yao and the complementary pieces that we have and you can win a chmapionship.

and he needs to practice more at the offensive low post, and develop his jumphooks and some moves and you'll have the best PF coming of the bench.

He not only has a jumpshot, but a VERY GOOD jumpshot. This has been true since his Knicks days.

The reason he's not shooting them is because the Rockets are developing him. Remember when Landry first came on the scene? He was basically a finisher. Then he started shooting jumpshots last year. And this year he mixed in a low post game. We are likely seeing a similar development pattern with Hill.

Scola just works TOO hard for me to feel right letting him go. Hill shows good signs and whatever he lacks now, he can work during the off season. We could have Scola/Hill. And I agree with people who say we should sign Camby. He could back up Yao, he is interested in playing for houston, and we wouldn't have to mess up the team chemistry too much.
