I'd be pretty pissed if Yao signed with Miami. Just saying. I know it's cool to hate Yao and all. Guess I'm not a cool kid so I'll just leave this here...

LOL the troll goodbug bringing up Kobe in an unrelated thread.

If they liked hard working players, why is T-mac an ambassador?

I like T-mac, but is he a hard worker? Lol

One of those guys played with Yao Ming . Same reason why the only team to sign Steve Francis recently was in China.

I don't doubt LeBron will become insanely popular in China .

Lebron must first conquer America before moving onto China

LOL, in the article OP referred to, Kobe's in the title. And in the article, the author was assuming if LeBron could beat Kobe and get a title Nike could make a fortune.

In short, Kobe conquers China right now. And Tmac1 wished LeBron could dethrone him in his wet dream. How is that irrelevant?

Why are you so butthurt that Lebron might have an opportunity to make more money in China than Kobe. Why does it matter who they worship and ship billions of dollars to. it's not like Kobe's going to give you a couple of mil.

Yao fans in China want Yao to sign with Miami.

I think Yao is loyal and he will stay with the Rockets as long as they match any offer from better teams.

dude Riley signing Yao would be ****ing genius.

    seriously

they wouldn't need to play him full time. they could roll him out versus boston, NY, etc where they need an inside presence.

it's actually a good fit for Yao as well.

I think the one who will dethrone Kobe is not Lebron.

It will be Kevin Durant if his game keeps progressing and he can also win a championship or two in the near future.

Why? His humble image and work ethic.

With China's weak military I believe any large man with a sword could conquer the people's republic.

Indian. Born, raised, and educated in Houston, Texas. My apologies for liking Yao as a player and hoping he comes back at the right price. My opinions on players, coaches, and GMs don't change every 10 days.

    Hat off to you.

According to a simple-minded and easily manipulated fool like 'GlenRice', anyone who likes Yao as a player must be Chinese.

An idiot is an idiot. There is not much you can do about it.
