Kobe can't win a championship with no one else. Only Hakeem and Rick Barry have done that. Even Jordan had Pippen and Rodman/Grant.

Shaq is the only player that could potentially win a championship by himself right now. Still, 1 is the most he could win by himself. There would have been no getting past the Blazers in 2000, and no getting past the Kings in 2002. That leaves 2001... maybe.

No, I don't, but I assumed the original post to mean Kobe can't win as the sole star on the team. (I disagree) Robinson, Elliott, and Elie were good, but they are still role players. Duncan did not have a second definitive superstar like the Lakers have in Kobe and Shaq.

Robinson's average in the asterik championship year:

    Pts 15.8
    Reb 10.0
    Asst 2.1
    Stl 1.41
    Blk 2.43

Not superstar numbers, but definitely not a role player either.

Duncan did not win it by himself. Jordan did not win it by himself. I am sick and tired of people claiming Jordan carried the team. That fool had a crap load of help. Pimple, Kukoc, Grant, and Rodman were some of the best players in the game.

Hakeem in 94 is the only one that won it by himself. Otis Thorpe average 14 pts and 10.5 reb, but he was no where close to Robinson defensively when Duncan won it.
