That's because the last few games there has BEEN no big three. Lin scored 34 tonight...but no Harden. Lin scored 31 last game...Harden shot 5 of 16, bad game for him. The other games this season when Harden was balling, Lin had taken only 8 shots. IT MATTERS. If Lin and Harden both score 30 points/game on 45%-plus shooting, and Howard does his thing, then this team WILL win games.

God... Do you know that JR is a worse defender than ... Name any any player you want.... And Felton is a high volume low percentage shooter... We would be playing ISO games everyday...

I actually think Jeremy is a better player than Harden. I like his game much more than Harden's.

Agree. Lin is the best point guard in the league.

I don't know. I'll root for him to make his mark.

    But one thing is certain,
    Maury knows basketball.
even if he secretly enjoys chess and ping pong more.

The truth is....I know not many people will like to hear this.
It is not JLin who needs to become the the 3rd member of the big 3. Its actually the other way around. Harden needs to figure a way to mesh with JLin and the team. If harden can step back a bit on the iso and play, "better D". We'll have a team. JLin needs to cut down on his TO...**** when it gets ugly it gets ugly. Also, harden shooting bricks not exciting to watch either...So if they can figure a way to play together...things could be great...

Not because he might get traded... Him and Asik are on the chopping block last summer. Remember?

Let's give it a break eh ? It's been only 9 games. If Lin can do this over the course of the season, then yeah he can be the 3rd man. He'll also get himself a pay rise.

What about Parson? Isn't he suppose to be one of the Big3?

If Lin and Harden ever learn how to work together, they will be unstoppable. Harden has to learn to trust Lin and share the glory. Let Lin run the offense most of the time, and let Harden be the finisher most of the time.

Instead, short-sighted McHale goes for the bandage solution by inserting Beverley in the lineup so Harden can have the ball all the time.

Harden is a better player, but he is a selfish diva. Lin is unselfish, which make him a better team players.

Both Lin and Parsons are role players right now.

Parsons can become star material if he can demonstrate the ability to lead the team. That means running plays and creating shots. I don't think he's demonstrated this so far. Parson isn't good at iso plays, but he's also not that good with assist plays either. He relying too much on his 3-point shots and slashing cuts to the basket. That makes him an excellent role player, but he can't initiate the offense.

Lin can become star material if he can maintain some consistency. So far his performance is a roller coaster. You don't know which Lin you're going to get. Is he in passing mode today or is he in scoring mode today? How does he handle some adversity against other teams and teams that try to shut him down? (IE Miami) Bursts of Linsanity is not a good team tool. It's hard for team mates to adjust to your play style if you're play style is all schizophrenic.

Based on what? Lin is far outplaying Chandler Parsons this season as a 3rd star. It's not even close. I think the Rockets can have a big 4, but for now, the top 3 players to worry about are Harden, Dwight and Lin and in that order.

Isn't it funny how Lin's shot attempt increased right after Morey said on Radio that if Harden were ever out Lin would be the secondary scoring option along with Dwight?
