Stop bumping this thread, the title cracks me up. LOL!

Rockets fan and Jazz fan? At the same time?

You can do that around the same time a donkey kisses its own ass.

Edit: Hey, I just remembered that it was one of YOUR OWN cheap shot artists who broke Karla's snout (we don't have any, of course). But I still loved Cato flinging himself around amongst the Spazz. He wacked Karla good a few times. Keep it up, Kelvin!

Well what the hell do you call the Utah Jazz center?? The :

    Will Never win sh*t center?

Never Won Sh*t when it mattered center?

    Flop like bit*hes center?

Choke Free Throws in Finals Center??

Just Lost By Thirty to the Early Twenties Rockets Center??

We Suck and will Die Ringless Center?

Screw you ....... BJ Welp..... Your team sucks and so do you. Go back to the Spazz forum and complain that Karla should have flopped a few more times and you could've won a championship boo hoo....!! No one will ever remember the Jazz, who gives a DAMN about consistency?? Consistently not able to perform when it counted. Consistently choking!!

EEEHHH !! THE Jazz suck..!! All your years and your team will never win a damn thing. And you know what?? Its over??? hahahahahahahah

Versus: Rockets: Won two championships trampling over your ass!!!!

And NOW: We are locked and loaded with Two All-Stars and the best players to come out of the draft in the last few years and will be on top again. Maybe you can get one more year out of Stockton and Malone!! And hell bring back Osterfatass!!

JAZZ fans and their team and their players suck!!

Utah sucks so bad they don't even have anything to change the name to ....so its still the Jazz.

Am I the only one who's hated the Jazz since Adrian Dantley took 15 seconds to post up, back his fat ass in, and work the officials for a ticky-tack foul?

The only one who's hated the Jazz since Mark Eaton was nailed to the ground in the lane waiting to hack a young Akeem?

Remember, they beat us in the first round of the playoffs back in the mid 80s one year.

While I hate the Jazz...they actually have more reason to hate us than we do them. We rolled them in our 2 championship years. They have accomplished nothing. They cheated us twice. 1. the bearhug.....but we shouldn't have been in the position for that to happen. 2. Injuring Barkley(sp?). At least we have rings. S&M will never get one. We have already rebuilt for the next 10 years. They will be sucking very bad very soon. It will be wonderful.

Touche'! I like our rings and our prospects. In this rivalry, it is great to own the past and knowing we are going to own the future! It is a good time to be a Rockets fan.
It is not a good time, and I am not sure there ever is, was or will be, a good time to be a Jazz fan.

BTW, I don't think you can *truly* be a fan of more than one team. You can respect, or admire another team, but not follow them with the same fervor you have for your team. As X-Pac said, it's like committing adultery.

...then again, we are talking about a team based in Utah.

    Wrath,

You are not the only one that remembers that. I started watching the Rockets pretty regularly that year. I was a Rocket fan before, but I was pretty young and did not watch or follow the team consistently. Sampson was intriguing. And with Akeem (now Hakeem), you never knew what he was going to do. Still find it hard to believe that we lost that best of 5 series to the Jazz. Still I had more hate for the Lakers and Celtics than the Jazz. Boy, I really hated the Celtics one year later after the '86 finals!

I have memories of those early Akeem days, but I did not begin to hate the Jazz until that 1997 playoff series with the Jazz. Also, I had lots of hate towards the Sonics from the late 80's to the late 90's.

The thread lives yet another day.

Jamalccc (and any other heretic): If you care about our opinions, the obvious answer is no, you cannot truly love the Rox and that other team.

Now it is ok to like Jazz and the Rockets.....if you are talking about music to go with your basketball. But, really, how can you love that Utah team and our Rockets. That's like having two wives; and even the Mormons are supposed to have given up on that idea.

You are a sick, sick man.

Renounce your evil ways, or live with your own shame. We'll have no part in it. :p

    Hate Jazz!!

You can like whoever you want, but don't expect anyone here to take anything you say seriously.

The Jazz are a great team, a team whose fluid execution has few rivals. But that greatness will always be tarnished by their dirty play - playing games with the refs instead of just playing basketball.

And now it sickens me when I see young talented guys like Kirilenko heading down that path; it's his 2nd season and, among other things, he's already learning to over-dramatize his disbelief EVERY time he gets called for a foul. Thanks Jerry Sloan.

You forgot to mention that Dantley took another 15 seconds to massage the ball before he shot every free throw. :D

Easy: "You forgot to mention that Dantley took another 15 seconds to massage the ball before he shot every free throw."

Yes, and he taught Malone. I calculate that between the thousands of phantom fouls the refs awarded those two, giving them free throws they didn't deserve, and the time they have spent at the line over the ten second "limit," those two have collectively spent over 18 hours dribbling at the free throw line when they should have been sulking on the bench.
