Can I be a Rockets fan and Jazz fan the same time???

We went through it. but look on the bright side. We got Steve Francis, followed by Eddie Griffin, followed by Yao Ming. Steve Francis in a trade, Eddie Griffin by swapping picks, and Yao Ming with a #1 pick when we were the 5th or 6th in the lottery.

I got to see a game around Christmas. Karla tripped Moochie as he was back peddling. The ref saw it and call a tech on Karla. It's not a mirage - he is the dirtiest player I've every seen (worse than Bill Lambeer or Danny Angie). Sad thing is he's very talented. The only satisfaction is that Karla and Flopton will never win a ring.

 

I guess it takes a rocket scientist to know the answer.

 

Jamal, I just dont see how you could be both...its against the laws of nature. Im moving to Salt Lake City soon, and I am really happy about it. Its a beautiful place...and at least to me...a LOT nicer than H-town. But thats just me...some people like traffic, swampland, humidity and mosquitos...I dont. But when I do move...I will still be a Rockets fan through and through. I will get League Pass so I dont miss a game...and when the Rox come to town each year, I will be in the Delta Center wearing my Rockets colors, with my red and blue clapper, cheering my guts out for THE ROCKETS!!! I HATE THE JAZZ AND ALWAYS WILL! It is afterall my duty as a Rockets fan. You need to read your handbook and the membership guidelines more carefully.

I have admired this site, and the work that Clutch has done on it, for years. However, we are now sueing this board for the right to the name Clutch, as Houston has not lived up to this name for years. Who are the true clutch players in the NBA today?

Imposible!! Its like wanting to be in Heven and Hell at the same time! On one hand you will be supporting two of the most dirty players to ever play the game! They are not openly dirty, they do it when the ref is not looking( this is not to say that they arnt great players).On the other you have a young team fighting to find its identy and how to play like a team. Its either one or the other!

 

This is similar consequence to dedicating yourself to a marriage then turning around and commiting adultery. NO WAY! How could you compromise the Rocket Creed like this?

Well, we were once known as "Choke City" for about three days in 1994...

Seriously, what are we now, 1-6 in OT? Clutch players step up. Clutch teams find a way to win. The Rockets are finding ways to lose. If we want to make the playoffs (and that's a big if right now) we have to pass the Jazz or the TWolves, and we've lost to both of them the last games we played against them.

For how many more years can we use the youth card? Till we're as ancient as the Jazz? By the time this team grows up, the Pacific Division wil include teams in Tokyo, Shanghai, Manila, and Sydney.

I'm not ready to give up on the team, but I'm about ready to support another trade. We need a consistent shooter.

Mid court - Moochie back peddling on D (believe it or not) - and Karla stands there on the left side of the court and sticks his right leg out. You make the call - the ref did. Why would someone do that? Afraid that Moochie was going to back peddle his way to stop a fast break? Again - he's a talented player - sad that dirty playing is part of his game.

 

What about the radio dj in salt lake playing walk like an ethiopian when we played them in the playoffs? They were just jealous of Dream's superior footwork. For me, that made me start hating those piss ants more then the knick piss ants or any other piss antish team.
