Can I be a Rockets fan and Jazz fan the same time???

    I'd like to point out to everyone involved that I am NOT this guy he is referring to. Hey man, I go to BYU also. We need to get together and talk about this. These are some big issues that you need to work out.

    There's a Rockets game next month here in Utah. I'll be there with my wife. Now, there's plenty of time for you to build up a lotta Jazz-hatin' before then. There's no better time to come to the light.

    Hey, darkhorse, coming to the light? I did three years ago when I transferred form the U. I am telling you, the real light is Blue and White, not Red and White (you are probably the only guy knows what I am talking about). I hate the red/white, but this is the color the Rox are wearing. :(

    Anyway, I'll be at the game too. It's the first time I'll be at the Delta Center, and I will be cheering for the team that the Jazz is playing against. :(

    I'd like to know you though. :)

    A most excellent thread. I had no idea so many shared my hatred of the Jazz, as I have been preaching Anti-Jazz for as long as I can remember. Glad to know there is an army of us.

    You know, I hate the jazz. I would have said I hate the jazz as much as anyone, but after reading through all of these, i don't. however, i'm going to say it is possible. it's true stockton and malone are some dirty bastards, but they also play some beautiful fundamentalist basketball. did you guys all hate the bad boys in their championship years? they played dirtier than the jazz....


    but jamal, can you at least HATE the jazz when they play the rockets? i mean, really, that's the least you can do.

    OK, the reason I pulled this back up is simple --- the Rockets are going to play the Jazz in back to back/home to home nights. Man, what a two night serie! I am going to watch the game in Houston on TV, and I will be at the Delta Center in SLC on Wednesday!

    I never changed, I am still a die-hard Jazz fan (yeah, keep spitting on me, I don't care), but in the next two days, SCREW THE JAZZ!!! I AM A ROCKETS FAN MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE! I will be in the Delta Center, cheering for the Rockets at the face of all my Jazz loving buddies. On that night, we are enemies. After Wednesday, I will need open-heart surgery no matter what the results will be (hopefully a Rockets sweep):(, and you guys pray for me please. ;)

    Oh yeah, for those people such as gwatson86, don grahamleone or whoever is out there hate me since I am a Jazz fan or Yao Ming fan, I should be buried like Bobby Knight when I die so you can kiss my Rockets-loving ass too.

    lol This thread is Hilarious. I wish I could say that Jazz fans hate the Rockets as much as you hat the Jazz, but the Rockets just aren't worth the effort anymore.

    We'll be making you eat your words soon enough... actually, not really cuz you're right that it's not worth your time to be hating us... or any teams really, cuz 90% of the NBA will be beating up on your guys before too long if all goes right. ;)

    My hatred of the Jazz is not as powerful as it used to be. I've shifted some of that energy over to Phoenix and Dallas, with a tiny portion directed towards Richard Jefferson.

    I feel bad for Jazz fans. Once Stockton and Malone are gone, who's going to want to play for the Jazz? You can have all the Matt Harprings in the world, it won't get you to the playoffs. You're going to need 4 years of solid rebuilding around draft picks, and we're going to love watching every sorry ass moment of your franchise rebuilding. Good luck getting the 3 best players in 3 consecutive drafts.
