    We hate the Jazz so much, that once I brought a girl home, and she was talking to my Dad and I about basketball, and she said she grew up a Jazz fan. Well we just both rolled our eyes, and asked her to leave!

    I think that the Jazz represent all that is good about basketball. Malone, Stockton and Sloan are the poster kids for loyalty, unselfishness and basic basketball.

    However, I still hope they all are afflicted with the bubonic plague

    Dude its not possible to root for the Utah Jazz and the Houston Rockets. Not yesterday, not today, not tommorw. Its one or the other.

    just to clear it up, the flopton 3 was in game 6 in 97. barkley was fine and on the court. drexler was the one bearhugged. i was at a friggin math competition called ARML in iowa (if you ever get asked to go, say HELL Fing NO!!!) and had to miss game 5 on the trip up and the first half of game 6 and saw the 2nd half with the tv Fing muted (b/c we were practicing or some BS like that) and since the other people there were all nerds who didn't give a damn about the game, i couldn't even get really pissed off about the shot and i never got to see any real replays of the whole play. anyway, anytime it's ever brought up, people ALWAYS say it was drexler bearhugged so it was drexler. 98 was when we were going to upset them in 4 games (damn that would been embarrassing for a 1 seed) when chuck got injured and derailed that. damn we shut them down so hard in the first quarter of game 4 (21-10) and were cruising until that injury, damn antoine carr, can't believe you're sorry ass was on our team for a while.


    and you definitely can't be a fan of both teams, it's not allowed. and we don't hate them b/c of the flopton 3 in game 6, i know i hated them well well well before that. i've been paying attention to the rockets since 89-90 and basically watched every game since 93-94. i don't remember unbelievable hatred when we beat them in the WCF in 94 but i do when we beat them in the first round in 95 so i've hated them at least that long.

    I'm a Rockets fan 1st because of the history and proximity i have to the team, but I'm also a fan of good basketball which the Jazz play. I watch Utah all the time because of their precision and discipline at which they play the game. The way Utah plays , the consistent effort ,the back cuts, the fluidity at which they play is enjoyable for any hoops fan to watch. I don't care what people say about me , I like good ,smart basketball no matter who plays it.

    Wow. Great thread.

    Unless you have multiple personalities, where one reasonable personality supports the Rockets and another less reasonable and possibly unstable personality supports the Jazz, I think it would be virutally impossible to be a true Jazz fan and true Rockets fan at the same time. And this multiple personality disorder could probably be cured with medication and thus you would become soley a Rockets fan.

    No. You are allowed to admire Karla and Flopton --but not like them.

    By the way--drove through Salt Lake recently. There is a car dealership there by the name of "Stockton to Malone"! Really!!
    Me and my buddy figured they probably sell good cars but they just won't take you all the way there! :D

    Yes this way would be possible... Two personalities completely different and opposite and one unaware of the other but for only brief moments in crossing when they are totally in conflict with each other much like Smeagle in Lord of The Rings... "We loves the Master... Master Malone is good to us... No hates him, he betrayed us... Kill the Jazz Hobbits, they trickses us with their fake flops and elbows... But master malone is good to us and we can't s kills them the little one is always watching... then we kills them when they sleep... ha ha ha

    This will take care of it's self. As you become a legit Rocks fan you will begin to revulse at the sight of the Jazz.
    You will not know why or where it is comming from, it will just be so.

    Breathing the same air as those assclowns will cause you breathing problems. You will eventually have to leave the state and move to some place more hospitable. Breathing the same air as those assclowns will cause you breathing problems.

    This will be a positive thing in your life and you will reach new found happiness and success because of it.
    If you stay in Utah and continue to support the Jazz you will come close to your goals, happiness, & success, but will always fail when you feel things are just within grasp.

    Once you have moved and are truely happy, you should sit down and write Yao Ming a nice letter thanking him for showing you the light.

    None of us can, most of the time. (at least for me.) I haven't been able to edit mine in months. If we could edit, most of us would still be in the spelling contest. I know I would...stupid Stockton.

    I think Clutch stopped the option to help out with all the new members and stuff. I think there's an announcement still.
