Can I be a Rockets fan and Jazz fan the same time???

This is soooo true. I've got friends who are Kings fans, Mavs fans, Spurs fans, Knicks fans, Rockets fans, heck even Hawks fans, and WE ALL HATE THE JAZZHOLES. Even if Stockton retires and Karla moves to another team, I dunno if any non-Jazz fan would ever like the Jazz.

 

That's not funny at all. A team dying would be a tragedy, even if we do hate them.

Since most of folks reject your application to be a legit Rockets fan, I think as far as you can go is to be a Jazz fan, and a Yao-ONLY fan as well.

Back in the early 90's when Mike Newlin was the side comentator for the rox games instead of Calvin Murphy, in one of the games I clearly recall him saying that as a Rocket he always disliked the Jazz for no reason. I think actually he said as soon as he joined the rox he instinctively learned to hate the Jazz.
So U see it is like an oil-and-water situation, it will not mix!

And Jamal, you never felt animosity towards the Rockets? I mean, we did knock them out of the playoffs in '94 and '95 and I remember the Jazz thinking it was appropriate to face the Roxs in '98 (and you know if Chuck didn't get hurt it would've been an upset).
