Heoism is neither good or bad, but rather what drives the heroisim. Basically it is one of two factors greed or winning. They may be intertwined, but a player who makes a heroic play out of greed (I want to be the man, I deserve to take this shot bewcause I make the most money, etc) is not the same as a heroic shot because the player wants to win (I give my team the best shot to win, I have a good look, etc). Again it's confusing asnd intertwined but someone who takes a last second shot is either a hero or a goat, but you really need to understand why that person wants that shot. It is good to see stevie taking those shots. Last year he deferred to Cat and Moochie way too much.
Can we prove that Rudy didnt scold Steve? I mean rather than do it in public like some teams have been content to do, they did it in the back office away from the medling eyes of the media. Could you see the headlines? We would be the Lakers, Shaq hates Kobe, Kobe hates Shaq, Shaq and Kobe hate Phil, Phil Hates Shaq and Kobe, Heck I would rather them do that in private lol
He did ignore Rudy's timeout call a few games back. They said he just didn't hear it. Was that proven? I didn't follow through with that story. Anyways, Oski, I hear your point. I could be right or wrong with his "hero complex." That's just my worry. For some reasons, it just made me crinch when I saw a brash young star made the hero time and again. Maybe it's just my parental instinct.
What is the meaning of negative Francis thread? Is that just a way for apologists to label threads that essentially say the truth (or close to it) about Francis. The truth obvuiously hurts and that is why I cannot stand apologists. By the way hitting a buzzer beating 3 after missing 2 free throws in the last minute is not heroism - it is called saving one blushes.
