Can Harden catch Jordan’s scoring avg record

we actually seem to have quite a tough schedule the rest of the way and need to keep winning games to stay in 3rd, so it's possible

 

Taking a game off wouldn't affect his average at all, though it would give him one less chance at raising it.

 

His average for the previous 9 games: 35.3

 

Seriously. Just stay way out in front of Kobe for god sakes.

To be at 42ppg realistically, he needs to drop that 82 point game we have been waiting on.

I hope we play the Clippers in the first round. We would sweep with an 10+ avg margin of victory.

 

It would be nuts if he put up an 80+ game on the road against the bucks and got the win.

 

Rest Harden

So much trash talk in the media about Harden fades in the playoffs.
Really needs to answer his critics this year.

 

Can he? Absolutely. Should he? Absolutely not! For Harden to go 41 PPG for the rest of the season means we are continuing to play down to all our competition and he is being forced to put up those numbers. Now, will he either out of necessity or pride? There is a good chance that it happens with Harden.

 

Not likely. He may be the first player ever double teamed for an entire game. I remember Olajuwon vs Virginia, and they quadruple teamed him, and it almost worked. And they had Polynice.

 

Nearly impossible unless the team just feeds him the ball for the purposes of scoring. I don't think they will do that like they did with Kobe and Robinson

 

Harden is simply amazing. What another great performance last night.
