    I just started watching for the Sabonis/Sengun and immediately got mad again at Jalen Green and stopped watching…I think Green may be the laziest, most clueless defender in the NBA. Just watch him. I mean, the lazy stroll back after the missed corner 3? Yeah, he’s very young, and that’s why he doesn’t get back on D, right? Watch out, when the calendar flips enough times, he’ll really start getting back on transition D! Just horrible, horrible body language and effort.

    Well every player takes plays off.

    I've posted in the past players looking very bad
    playing defense or lack thereof.
    Recently of LeBron.

    The spat of KPj and Lionel Hollins on the sideline was of KPj letting the ball handler just fly right by him. Imo.
    I was mad as well with KPj as it happened.
    [I call all players out....even if their name is Olajuwon]

    This is why I have the Rockets bringing in Harden/Cam Johnson/Torrey Craig.
    A lot of redundancy.....but everyone runs their @$$ off or subbed out. Every 5 minutes if necessary.

    Yes definitely agree and we also can't underestimate the importance of muscle and force in colliding with someone in the air while trying to maintain balance. Fox has put on a LOT of strength which is something Jalen is doing slowly too + what will aid Jalen is that he projects to be a much better shooter than Fox so he will not be as reliant on getting to the rim.

    I feel like a player who can get past his man any time and is willing to go to the line 6 times with that frame is a player Udoka will appreciate. Biggest gains are to come from defense though because that's 50% of all possessions where Jalen is bleeding the points he's scoring. In terms of pure on court impact, defense and better shot selection are Green's biggest enemies right now.

    Why does everyone have to be a “version” of someone else? Like we need a template to work from. Hopefully in a few years people will be saying they hope their guys become their version of Green and Sengun.

    It's nice to see the Kings break out of the basement, but I don't think "Kingdom" is what we should be striving for.

    This is an incredibly weak Era of basketball and we should be aiming to be much better than the kings.

    For a basketball fan it's great though. So much parity now.

    That said, the 2017-18 Rockets would wipe the floor with all the top teams in the NBA right now.
