Bias at its finest. The full action showed Because Brooks was ball watching he ignored his cutting man or didn’t communicate. Green had to cover the cutter. Then Brooks ran after the same cutter late instead of covering the wing. Now the wing is wide open and Green has to rush back to cover. An example of how people don’t understand what they watch especially when they aren’t watching the full on court action but edited clips that provides a narrative.
Great analysis. There’s a lot of nuances these haters aren’t taking into account. Instead they rush to judge without a full assessment including qualitative information.
LOL, I'm going to miss the unintentional comedy that is the Jalen Green simps when the Rockets finally move on from that draft bust.
The issue earlier in the season was he was hesitant and not aggressive. This is possibly due to playing in a new system where Fred dominated touches and the offense is initiated through Fred and Sengun instead of Green and Sengun or Green on the iso. The paint was also packed often times as teams sagged to defend the Sengun short roll. There’s a lot of issues with the Rockets offense and we saw Udoka open it up a bit more as the season moved along. There’s a few kinks to work out in terms of creating opportunities for him and balance it out with the others. Imagine if Ant was a third option behind KAT and Conneley next year. I think he would struggle in that role after being the primary scorer the last 4 years.
