Cato might be able to bang a little bit on the inside with strong PF's but he could foul out quickly leaving Yao all alone at the 5.
Almost of the PF's in the West can shoot the mid range shot very effectively and Cato can't stop them from that.He is a good shotblocker, a much improved rebounder and can dunk. He obviously is best suited as a backup center but I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting some minutes at the 4 with Mo not being fully fit or when he and Griffin get in trouble with bigger 4's.

I may be in the minority, but in certain situations i think it would be ok to have Cato play power forward. Of course against the Dirk,Garnett, and some guys like that he would have problems just like everyone else, but in situations like against the T'Wolves when they had Trent,Garnett and Rasho, i think Rudy could have countered with Ming,Cato and Griffin. Ming on Rasho,Cato on trent and Griffin on Garnett. Another chance to play Cato along with Ming is against Utah the other night against Malone. malone was to strong for griffin and too quick for Taylor. Cato have guarded Malone in the past pretty well and it was obvious he was too much of a bull for griffin, but Eddie could have slid over and checked Kirilenko . Its really all about lineups that Rudy plays, but I would really like to see a all defensive lineup during some parts in the game in certain situations with Francis,Posey,Hawkins,Griffin and Ming. The offense can come from Francis and Ming and everyone else can just hustle and keep the intensity up.
