actually, the NFL would benefit much more if the Redskins did better since they are a much, much larger media draw. they used their 2nd pick, a 4th rounder, on Cousins. They used their 2nd pick, a 3rd rounder, on the O-line. The Cousins pick was a little unorthodox but it was pretty good value for him. He has the potential to be flipped later for a higher picks later, a la matt schaub.
Or to put more pressure on RG3( in a position where caucasians currently dominate in the pros), if he plays bad for 2 games. Causing a QB controversy.. something Donovan McNabb alluded too
if RG3 is so bad that people want to see Cousins play then they are in real trouble. RG will have plenty of time and opportunity to succeed. s...and if he can't stand the pressure of cousins behind him than he doesn't need to be starting in the first place.
Wait, what...? They picked him #2 overall, you honestly believe they would turn the team over to someone else if he has a few bad games? RG3 is their best QB option now and for the foreseeable future, all he'll need is time to develop and some better pieces on the team. Of course with how the Skins handle business they'll probably screw that up too.

Cam was celebrating while being down 3 touchdowns, and then pouted on the bench, so he made himself an easy target. And people aren't turning on him by any means, he just caught a little flack from a funny cartoon. That is no big deal. and i already addressed the Cousins pick. The redskins were going for best value in the 4th round, and that was Cousins. It's a little bit of a risk but any 4th round pick is. this isn't a race conspiracy. get over it.
Because they didn't want to. You know the last time the Redskins took a QB in the 1st round (Heath Schuler 3rd), they also took another QB in the same draft (Gus Frerotte). Frerotte ended up having a pretty decent career while Shuler is one of the biggest QB busts in history. I guess they did it because Heath Schuler was black...
It is obvious. They traded all those picks to move up to #2 just so they could throw him to the side after a couple of games and go with a white QB.
Especially after after he leads an offense that is 6th in yards and 1st in points. Did I mention is his 6th in the league in QB rating.
