    can't believe the op has been around since 02 and can start something as stupid as this.

    Artest is a very good even great player at times.

    Dream is a legend, if you didn't see him play you have no idea of what true greatness in a center is.

    To entertain the question...Anthony Mason of the Knicks was the closest thing to Ron Artest defensively. Hakeem abused Artest. Rodman had the same reputation as Artest. Hakeem abused Rodman.

    Hakeem could not be shut down.

    Akeem would dream-shake and dunk all over him.
    Hakeem would foul him out quickly with his array of moves around the basket.....and of course dunk all over him.

    Did Anthony Mason handle Hakeem. The question should be if Artest, Yao, and Batter tripled teamed Hakeem, do you think he would still score 30 in a playoff game.

    I think the answer would be yes because he did it to the Lakers in the 86 season.

    the question is ridiculous, the stats given for each guy are even more ridiculous.....agreed Dream was about 6'10 and Ron about 6'6 ish....
