I got an e-mail last night/this morning from paypal explaining that $235 US had been charged to my paypal account for "jelsoft Enterprises Limited" I have a paypal account, but I haven't used it in a LONG time (probably years), and I sure as heck didn't buy anything from this company. In fact, after logging onto paypal, I saw that the lone credit card they had on file for me was long since replaced, therefore the one on file was not valid. I immediately protested the unauthorized charge, and I swear, it wasn't but an hour or two later when paypal comes back and claims that the charge has been reversed and anything charged to my card would be credited back. Of course, nothing could have been charged because the card was dead. Later today, I get an e-mail from this Jelsoft company..........although the name on the e-mail is from vBulletin. vBulletin looks familiar to me, but I don't think too much about it at first because I'm too pissed that someone is trying to scam me. Later it hits me.........vBulletin makes the software that clutchfans runs on. Needless to say, they must be a legit company. So who is trying to screw me?
Ohoo those are some serious complications... I was in similar situation situation few days ago when I bought something and didn't get it.
Haha, how is that similar to what his situation? He's saying he got charged for something he DIDN'T buy, and you're saying you bought something that you never GOT. It sounds like you got the words similar and opposite mixed up in your head.
