Amen/JGreen/Bari/Tari/Sengun should be the formula. FVV and Dillon are the players for transition period. Jabari Smith might excel at 3 and will be ordinary player at 4 or 5. Alp hesitated (mistake) but Jabari Smith Jr. should stop to being drama queen.
Total and complete nonsense. All you’re doing with this post is showing that you never played competitive team sports and that you’re soft. I guarantee you nobody on the Rockets cares about this. Teammates yell at each other all the time. It’s a non-issue. It just shows that Jabari gives a sh*t, which is a good thing. Some of y’all need to chill out.
There is this and there is that......if you have a problem you talk to Alpe under wraps but not scream it for the camera man to record it. Especially when he demands Alpe help him right at the moment AD dominates him.......he is just frustrated and vents it on Alpe. He is being an immature douche IMHO but good thing there is time. I never liked somebody who only barks at teammates but talks to opponents in a neutral way. Imagine a role player barking at the star player for a mistake he made.
Yeah, no. I completely disagree. Teammates yell at each other, if you played any competitive sports you’d know this is a non-issue. Yelling at teammates does NOT make you an “immature douche”. It is just something that happens in team sports when people care about what’s happening. Role player or not does not matter. Competitive dudes yell sometimes when playing sports.
Normally yes but someone who has a mere face up game and plays like 7 ft wing is complaining to someone who can teach him a thing or two in fundamentals. It is just bizarre to me but carry on. In this situation it does because the play was over with and the fault was clearly his........ If you think Alpe has the responsibility to help him down there, then I am doubting your common sense. He cares because he sucks as a star player, he has no bag on Offense and on Defense he is pretty soft guarding bigger players. I know they talked it out and pretend it never happened, but in that specific moment he looked like a fool to me because he was dominated by AD and then he made the situation worse by complaining theatrically to someone whose task was not to stay with AD. If player had self respect, he would have let that one go in a NO Win situation. And yeah, Jabari has to be one of my least favorite players, Jalen Green is above him for sure.
If Jabari starts playing nasty, then by god, he can call out everyone's ass as far as I am concerned. However, it's a bad look If you are the one that is playing soft. It has been a recurring theme this year for Udoka to call out Jabari's lack of physicality.
None of that is germane to my point. My point is quite simple: in competitive team sports sometimes teammates yell at one another in the heat of the game. It’s a non-issue, and anyone who has played competitive team sports beyond the grade school level can attest to this.
The thing is it is not about your point, because OP asked something entirely different. (Whose fault was it in the situation) Just trying to stick to OP's question. But to your point, I understand but I am not liking it. Neither am I compelled to.
That’s fair. However, this whole running theme about Jabari being mean or a diva because he’s yelled at Alpy and Jalen a couple of times is stupid and I guarantee you nobody on the Rockets gives it a second thought.
When you reply to someone specifically, usually it would imply that your post is in some way a response to theirs, and thusly, would be somewhat germane to the point they’re making.
Hell, I think most of us here and most of them in the locker room hope like hell that Jabari gets a little more mean... to the opposing team ideally. Get those elbows up, son!
Yeah, but I had no idea you wanted to make this about your own point....but okay. I am flexible...just did not know you are adamant about something that is not really important to me. This is the 3rd or 4th time Jabari barked at someone in front of National TV or camera. I even agree this should be a non issue but I have a hunch he will do a lot more. He is just very insecure about things.
If he continues to suck at 1 on 1 coverage, then it is an issue just another issue that he sucks at that. It is a whole different thing to blame others for one's own failure. I despise this. Minus the yelling part, the intent of why he is yelling. Yelling has tons of meaning, not every one is about blaming others. And you won't understand that it is not the yelling part that irks me but his bad intention. It is not something you do to your teammates.....there is mainly a humiliation part of how he does it.
He is not a diva in my book but a really timid individual who likes to blame others......it is one of the worst habits among humans. You know it on a forum like this where you get blamed for all sorts of things.
You don’t know his intentions. Saying he has bad intentions is purely speculation on your part. You’re judging his character for yelling at a teammate during a game, which is frankly ridiculous. Also, there is no “humiliation” here at all. I guarantee you Alpy was not humiliated and didn’t give this interaction a second thought.
It all hinges on how they proceed with the season, if they are hitting a major bump on the road. Small things like this can flare up and spread like wild fire...... We all are just offering our opinions, I disagree with your take on that......because IMO I do not see anything beyond downplaying things.... Of course millionaires are not caring like fans care....but it is a bad look for the Rockets nonetheless....mainly because Bari's game has not improved to the level that he can afford doing things like that without the public judging him. He looks like a fool and a petulant kid in that situation.....which he still is to be fair. Judging his character is what you said, I was first and foremost attacking his game.....and that still sucks against contenders or serious teams.
I couldn’t disagree with you more. He does not look like a fool or a petulant child, he looks like a professional basketball player who is frustrated in the heat of the moment. Couldn’t be less of an issue.
Well, then we leave it at that. I have only judged his intentions after I judged his game as a player which fans are allowed to do.... And several times he was in the wrong, when you blame people for things he sucked at vs...rightfully criticizing your teammates.... 2 different issues. Being frustrated in the moment does not give you the right to scream like a crazy man that every dude can hear him, and therefore making your teammate look uncomfortable. Common intellect and common conduct.....from someone who attended College. Nice day.
