    my $0.02...

all of this just tells me what truly magical years '93-'95 were... injuries never struck at the core of the team; seems I remember the only rotation player to get hurt back then was Carl Herrera with his rickety shoulder. Since that time the rocks have been snakebit each and every year- and it's a testament to Rudy's ability to manage adversity that the team made the playoffs every year instead of going in the tank (San Antonio, are you listening?)

maybe the looney tunes jammies should be exorcised...

oh... and BTW- I suffered a severe ankle sprain playing drunken football when I was 22... I'm a thirtysomething now and it still[/i] gives me fits occasionally. Why should a thinly-built, 24 year-old 7-footer be any different from a 6 foot-something thinly-built guero?

You guys should be ashamed of yourself for doubting Cato. Hell, I don't know the guy personally and you are right to say I don't have what it takes to play NBA ball (neither do you) BUT one thing I do know is that injuries of this type hurt, A LOT. Another thing is these guys are big, HUGE, and strong, really strong and move quick, really freakin' quick. So when they have a stress or torsion type injury it is for real. Many moons ago I was a trainer, yep that was was me the little guy taking the monsters off the field. Trust me I've seen some big ass cry babies (usually the offensive lineman) and I've seen some real tough SOB's. But by far the toughest I've seen when it comes to this type of injuries are basketball players for one simple reason: it has been a part of their daily lives for a long, long time. So if they have an injury that is bad enough to keep them on the bench it must have been pretty severe. So lay off because you just don't know what HE's (personally) going through.

    payaso,

In the 2nd championship year, both Dream and Maxwell went down for over 2 weeks each with anemia.

Injuries happen, and some people play with nicks and scrapes, while others don't.

I would not read too much into Cato's injury this time. I think he wanted to play, but the team needed a roster spot for Carlos Rogers, so Cato gets to sit.

It is clear the Rockets are not DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN as an organization to win this year. It is a case of let the team play and learn and grow, and worry about next year.

I think we are all missing the point regardless of the injury, the guy shows no desire to be out there except to attempt a block on every play. However the guy doesn't even block it correctly he blocks it to be cool not to be usefull. The guy has no offense, ALWAYS places the blame on someone else(I can't tell you how many times this year I have seen Cato yell at someone else right before a commercial break after Cato did something stupid defensively) and never steps up unless hes playing on national TV. The Rockets got suckered into a big contract once again on a player who doesn't deserve it, lets just hope that at somepoint he will start earning his contract before it is up.

Scar do you remember the 93-94 season. Those were the good old days. Remember the little things we did thinking it was a good luck charm.

P.S. It was not a clip!!!
