Liar liar liar Anthony's ball-handling skills are extremely good for his size. How many 6'11 guys can running the break almost like point guards or point forwards, ha? <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/tgyybTWnyaY&hl=ru_RU&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/tgyybTWnyaY&hl=ru_RU&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I don't even see how this is a topic. Randolph is an athletic, young stud. Teams never give up talented youngsters like him without there being a non-fixable defect in either his game, attitude, intelligence, or work ethic. He might pan out one day, but at this point, risking Landry and Chase is beyond stupid.

and this that 1% chance, when team can give up such guy, cause it's all about conflicts inside warriors team and stuff Marcus Thompson
I like Brandan Wright more than Randolph. He has equally as much potential and is a shot blocking big man. He just can't shoot a consistent jumper and that is why he isn't playing in GS.
Here's the thing: Randolph will be a great player. I'm a huge fan of the guy. HUGE. But CBud and Landry are two of our best players. And two of our youngest. Trading them, either one of them, let alone both, is flat out MORONIC. MO. RONIC.
This makes me feel so nice )) Rockets fans are believing, that Carl can be a star, and they can't even tell why. They can't describe, how Landry can be a star with no starting spot for a few years, a less playing time, and reduced role in the next seasons... They can't even describe, why Randolph is a bad addition, cause almost everyone didn't even seen him a lot and they are posting some kind of lies. what is the reason? They can't understand the game of basketball at the level they think  They think, that Brooks can be an All-star in the west. In Conference with Paul and D-will. They think that he can be a good level PG, with no defence, no creating skills in halfcourt. OK They think, that Ariza can be an All-star, even he has an average abilities and questionable basketball IQ Ok They think, that Landry can be an All-Star, with lower role and reduced number of shots in the next season. Ok. But do you think, that fans|coaches|gm's of another 29 teams are on the same page as you?
Landry is not a YOUNG PLAYER! HE IS 26, as long as Granger, Ben Gordon, Devin Harris, David Lee, Kevin Martin. All of them are the leaders of their teams and are playing with big salaries. They are listed as one of the most talented players of the country. Is Landry on a same page? Can he step in a same level if he'll not have any chances to progress? That's all folks
It amazes how many fans there are in this forum who speak so boldly about topics they know little to nothing about (and that shot wasn't really directed at the poster above, but to other self-professed experts in this thread and others where GSW players have been discussed). I have lived in the Bay Area for most of my life, and have followed the GSW for over 14 years and have seen first hand to what degree this franchise is disorganized and clueless. You are talking about the same owner who let go of Chris Webber, Tim Hardaway, Mitch Ritchmond....in their prime and sided with a buffoon like Don Nelson NOT ONCE BUT TWICE NOW, even though he has screwed that team's personnel every time he has been in charge. The same Don Nelson that didn't want to pick Monta Ellis or Anthony Randolph (both Mullin picks) and liked Acie Law more than Ellis. The same Nelson who ran the TMC warriors out of town because of his ego, the same Nelson who lets Maggette, Jackson, Baron Davis do whatever the hell they feel like on the court but yanks Randolph every time he sneezes the wrong way and benches him for the forseable future; the same nelson WHO PLAYED ROB KURZ, MIKKI MOORE AND CHRIS HUNTER OVER RANDOLPH OUT OF PURE SPITE, despite the fact that none of the above even sniffs Randolph's production on the court; the same Nelson who never let Brandan Wright see the light of day on the court and suddenly after his last injury said that Brandan looked like the best player on the team in training camp and was gonna be a real player (oh really and how will he do that when you keep him on the bench 24/7). You're talking about the same Team President in Robert Rowell who let Baron Davis go and signed Corey maggette to a 5/50 million dollar deal for a far inferior player, the guy who signed for no discernable reason an aging Stephen Jackson to a 3 year extension and then had to trade him for peanuts, the same guy who alienated his best player Monta Ellis by threatening to void his contract for nearly a year, the same guy who pushed out the only intelligent person in the front office Chris Mullin, because he was jealous of the credit Mullin was receiving for their brief success, and instead hired Nelson's stooge Larry Riley. Now as far as all those shadow experts about the pejoratives of Randolph's character or game, lets get a few things straight: None of you has a clue what this poor guy has had to endure in the past few seasons with these schizophrenic bosses at GSW. The guy's work ethic is not a problem as evidenced by his daily 6-8 hour workouts everyday of the summer with Anthony Morrow in Oakland, where he gained an inch (now 6'11) and 20 pounds of muscle. He worked his ass off and it showed in the pre-season and summer league with the types of performances he was putting up, but yet again once the season started he was inexplicably put on the bench, even when Biedrins and Turiaf were hurt and only Mikki freaking Moore was the only option left. So what does Don Nelson do? He Plays Mikki should be retired Moore 35 minutes a night and gives Randolph spot minutes in a schizophrenic fashion (despite which the guy still produces) and never lets him get any continuity whatsoever. Look at Moore's stats (3-5 rebounds a night in 25-35 minutes) and tell me that there isn't some sort of spite involved in this situation. EVERY SINGLE GSW fan knows that Randolph is not the issue here, just like Al Harrington, Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson, Monta Ellis...etc....were not either, but it is Don Nelson's ego that is unchecked and his power plays are ruining this franchise. As far as people questioning Randolph's game, they need to watch at least a dozen of his games before they make such asinine statements. This guy is IMMENSELY TALENTED and in any other competent organization would be the next coming of KG, BOSH, Duncan with his ability to play at both ends. The guy is more in the mold of a KG/Lamar Odom type but he has better handles than KG (on par with Odom), the same ferocity and motor as KG (in a raw form of course and a much better one than Odom) and plays defense with real desire (unlike his GSW teammates). The guy's real weakness at this point is his inconsistent jumper but that has a lot to do with his playing time, and the dwindling of his confidence under Nelson's tutelage. So to summarize if his contract is available as it appears to be, then there isn't a single big man on the Rockets roster (short of Yao who is a true center, while Randolph is more of a 4 who can play some 3) who has anywhere near the ceiling that this guy has in terms of untapped potential that could be fully realized fairly easily with some logical and directed tutelage under an excellent coach like Rick Adelman or Greg Popovich. Rest Assured that if the GSW trade him, the fans will riot in the Bay Area and heads will roll.
And finally about Randolph He is less productive Landry. But according to scouts, experts and my own vision of the game - he has a sky is the limit potential. He will rise as a player for 5-7 years and even in the next season he will be better and more productive than Carl. Even in Rockets uniform.

2 of our best all around skilled players for a young raw big; price is too high, need to squeeze Brian Cook in deal instead.
Would you place his untapped potential along the ranks of Gerald Green and Martell Webster, or is it more along the lines of Chris Wilcox and Tyson Chandler? He does have a good motor but that doesn't mean anything if you don't know how to incorporate it into different game situations, and at age 20 it's a huge toss up. While I agree the Warriors are a terrible organization, crippled by Don Nelson and a great playoff series against Dallas, you're overestimating Randolph's value. Untapped potential isn't what it used to be - especially when you're dealing with tweeners.
