If we ever in my life get Maggette, I'll get the Von Hawk.

I'm glad your not the Rox GM. Morey would never trade Landry for Randolph straight up, Landry is way closer to being a star than Randolph is. Immaturity may be holding Randolph back and he may be a solid player one day but to give up a productive player for an unproductive one on a bad team is a gamble.

Chase/Landry for Randolph?! Are you crazy!?

Landry is better than Randolph by himself. He doesn't have attitude problems either. And you want to trade him and our promising rookie? Our two most promising players?

    You are insane.

Oh, DD, where would we be without your "we need to trade for Corey Maggette" schpiel?

As for the OP's ideal: I could bite the bullet and send in Landry and possibly a draft pick for Randolph, but Chase? Heck no. He still hasn't really proven himself yet, and while he could be an All Star, he could also be a problem. I'd gamble Landry on someone who could be an All-Star and definitely has talent, but given our wing talent shortage, there's no way I'm throwing in Chase.

Is there such a thing as too much depth?

There's a very good reason GS wants to get rid of a young, athletic stud like Randolph. Giving up a great building block for their trash is just asinine.

By sending in our two best young prospects? I could trade Landry and a draft pick possibly for Randolph, but Landry and Budinger? Get that crap out of here.

    LOL

How Landry can be a star in one team with Yao and with bench place for the few next seasons?

Yao will came back, he'll reduce his minutes, he's number of shots, his stats will decrease immediately. AND HE WILL BE 27 YEARS OLD NEXT AUTUMN. He Will be close to the peak of his career and he'll still coming of the bench! Landry has no chances to be a star in the team, Where Yao Ming is the cornerstone. Oh, come on.

We should use max of this situation. Next year Landry will be a 12 + 5 kind of player. You'll never get anything better than Anthony for him. Don't forget please, that Randolph is just 20 years old

Remember the ending of last season, when this guy has a plenty of time. He was awesome...

That is the worst idea ever. Anthony Randolph has no game. All he does is dunk and occasionally block shots. Where as Carl can shoot from 17ft and in and has a solid post game. And if you didn't see tonights game, thats maybe a glimpse of what Chase can look like if he gets minutes. Randolph is just an energy player which Carl already is.

Maggette, Ariza, Battier and C-Bud all shooting for the small forward spot?
C-bud could move over to SG but the others dont think so.

Not sure why Golden State expects more consistency from a 20 year old, but whoever trades for him is going to be in for a huge let down. He's a lot of athlete and very little baller, has weak shot mechanics and struggles in a half court game.

He's a rich man's Renaldo Balkman, and his ceiling isn't as high as a lot of fan boys make it out to be.

    Not true in the slightest.

Anthony Randolph can handle the ball similar to Lamar Odom... Can Carl do that?

His mid-range game is coming around, and he is 20!!!

His per minute statistics speak louder than anything. When he plays more than 35 minutes, he averages 25-15-3-3...
