[cameras during golf swings]I'm no golfer, but doesn't this seem a little ridiculous?

If they can't deal with people making noise while they're playing, without threatening to kill them, then they're softies too. But I haven't seen any articles on that, so I don't know.

    1) Pro golf tournaments clearly and openly ban cell phones and cameras. They wand you at the door to prevent it. Anyone who brings a phone or camera in is sneaking it in and knows it's against the rules. That makes them a jerk.

    2) The winner of each PGA golf tournament gets over a million bucks. How focused would you need to be if you were playing a round of golf for over a million bucks?

    3) The people around the tee box are about 10 feet away from the golfer when it happens. It's not like other sports where the players are far away from the spectators.

A lot of the reason the prize money is so much is because of the access to the sport. What happens when a golfer complains he gets nervous because he knows he's on tv, and radio, and the results will be in the paper and internet. Ban it all and they can go back to getting paid nothing for their little hobby.

People are this close in all major sports. You don't think the excessive flashes at baseball stadiums during key moments might not be distracting? It's part of the reason players get paid so much though. The fan is the customer.

BTW, anyone who knows anything about cameras also knows that it is idiotic to have a flash on during those pictures. Your flash will only extend so far. Using a flash on your camera in the stands at a baseball stadium does nothing.

This is why I'll never be a pornstar, because photographers make me lose my fockass.

1 bad hit could cost you the tournament + millions of dollars. You're not suppose to take pictures during someone's swing and the person taking the picture knows that.

This is stupid and represents the awful, selfish attitude so many people have today.

"I'm paying money so I get to do what I want, screw the rules"

He's not saying get rid of the TV cameras, he's not saying ban the fans, he's not saying he's going to stop interviews, he just wants people to follow the RULES.
