I have seen from some casuals who has claimed that...But Cam is just a backup guard as a 20th pick...his place is reserved for the bench. Jalen is UNTOUCHABLE.
Cam has a ceiling that Joe never had due to the athleticism but they have a lot of similarities in their games. Cam is explosive in transition but is pretty methodical in the half court. In a few years he will be posting up smaller guards with ease. He really should hit up Iso Joe for a training session lol.
Ime only likes to play 9-10 guys. You've got the starting 5 Then you've got Eason Jeff Green Tate Holiday Maybe Amen If Jabari can play back up 5 like he did last night, then you can cut some of Jeff's minutes. But the Thunder went small, so I don't know if that what Jabari did on the boards will be sustainable. Tate probably needs to be moved in a trade this season.
You don't lose your job to injury. In that case Cam becomes the 6th man and there's a competition for the starting spot in the future. You don't want to throttle any value Jalen has like that because you're probably seeking a trade if Cam outright claims the spot.
Tate started off the season well but the last couple of games, he hasnt been as effective. There’s the window of opportunity right there for Adam to get some minutes. But I don’t expect that to happen unless something unfortunate happened like an injury
Man his 3pt shot is better than I thought. Can't believe that's one of the youngest players in the entire NBA. Like 6th youngest or something I believe. Thank god we didn't draft him under Silas though. With his tunnel vision and Silas' non-existent mentorship, we would have been doomed.
The NBA does too look at Holiday last night. The player just has to be SMART ENOUGH to know to move to that spot when the D isn't looking.......I am looking at you Jalen Green. DD
If Smith plays some 5, then some of his minutes at 4 may go to Eason or Tate. That could free up some minutes for Cam at the 3. But then when Thompson comes back and if Holiday continues to play well, they will likely have some 3-guards lineup and that would crowd the 3 spot.
With Yawndale being a non-entity, our lineup is unbalanced. While I like Tate some, it would really help to move him and get another big. Tate/Landale/2nd round pick = ???
