We have the steal of the draft 3 years in a row! you have to give Stone credit for his second first round picks although Cam at that spot was a no brainer.
Cam still doesn’t see the floor well or have a good feel for team basketball, but he has an excellent stroke, he’s a natural on-ball defender, he’s a force near the rim. Frankly I just don’t see how G-League would do him any good. He needs NBA minutes. I don’t see him playing ahead of Jalen, Brooks, Tari or Bullock, but if one of those players misses time, Cam is gonna get his opportunity. It’s really exciting to see his immense 2-way potential at just 19 yrs old.

I’m glad Bullock chose us over other teams and feels like we owe him some minutes, but looking at some advanced metrics he was not good last year, should not be too hard for Cam to beat him out.
Cam & Tari may be my favorite players on the team, and these guys were our second picks in their respective drafts. Got some great talent at 20 and 16.
Anyone who can play the 2 and the 4 equally well (and do it well) is one hell of a basketball player. Give the man minutes and give him a chance to win ROY. He deserves it. Would make an amazing NBA story. Drops to #20 and becomes ROY. P.S. - To anyone who says we play positionless basketball, go tell that to Coach Udoka.
I actually think Cam Whitmore is exactly the type of player that people THOUGHT Cam Reddish would be.
Cam is very good, no surprises there. What really surprises me is how he feels he has the ultimate green light. Reminds me of Melo. Each time he touches the ball, the play is dead, he's going to shoot.
