Cam is doing what I thought he would be doing as a rookie with a quasi year of college ball Ime will bring him along and he will eat into Tate minutes, and if Green/Holiday are not on that game then Ime will have no prob giving Cam their minutes as well The Rockets have so much young talent and they are on schedule on what they claimed they wanted to do more this year (win more/compete for playoff[in] slot) Cam just needs more time and by year 3/4 will be more comfy and lethal, he just has to avoid the injury bug and remain focused on his craft
Whats wrong with that? If we wanted someone instant impact we would have drafted a college senior. Posters here on CF always want instant results Sengun is only 21 he will be ready to compete 24+ look at the best young players now what age are they? Tatum 25 Luka 24 Jokic 28 Giannis 29 SGA 25 Haste makes waste I don't want Sengun to look around the team at age 26 and realize he playing with a bunch of washed guys. I know everyone loves FVV and DB but by the time Sengun is ready to compete his teammates will be Cam Whitmore and Amen Thompson.
Who cares man the important thing is we got them. Nobody can predict how these guys will turn out otherwise Sengun wouldn't last till 16 and Cam Whitmore 20. Only in CF you find posters complaining we drafted well lol wtf.
He's not complaining at all, he is on his hip hop NY ish, and low-key dissing the lotto picks, especially the 2nd overall pick who was competing with his favorite guard(ex) on the team this time last season Good thing for the Rockets is that all those 1st rd picks(core) are contributing this season, regardless where they were drafted, and playing in meaningful games both home/road early for almost the entire season
Its such a joy reading your replies I swear you be on some cheech n chong snoop dogg sticky icky with some of your replies
I had nothing against your replies, I do not care actually, just seem you on aggro in the winter months.
Jerry Springer show is still going strong New Marvel movies on deck Sorry I took your style, I have nothing against your replies, I just said you reply sometimes like you are on some of that Cali sticky icky or maybe some purple drank And I just did that as well with this reply
No harm. I am everything but that, but yeah, I just tend to stick to the most popular topic. View what topics have the most replies.....takes no genius to see.
Jabari is starting to show his worth. Let's not count him out. His defense has improved and his shooting has gotten so much better. I'm extremely excited for his year 3 and proving to be extremely worth the 3rd pick.
Did I complain about him? No I simply stated fact. He is the biggest boom or bust player on the team right now hence my "lottery ticket" description. I am willing to give him time but I am also not one who looks at him and thinks he is automatically going to be a superstar. I look at Alpi and I see a superstar and have been saying so since his first year. I look at Cam and see he will be at least an all star with the potential for way more. I look at Tari and see a future all star. I look at Amen and I see a project that could be a superstar or a bust.
It's almost like the high picks were consensus picks but the late picks opportunity and data driven. Witus the real genius of the front office?
As of right now, Bari is our second best pick and it’s silly to argue otherwise. If you try to trade Eason and Bari, Bari would bring in radically more value. Whitmore has shown flashes, but he has a long, long way to go.
Not to argue (I think it is way too early to decide) but Tari seems to be regarded as a better prospect winning-impact-wise. And it might suggest Tari is more valuable as an asset as of right now.
I don’t get that sense at all. In listening to any basketball podcast or analyst, very few mention Tari, and most discuss Bari as an incredibly valuable player given his skillset. I haven’t heard one expert mention Tari in the same breathe as Bari. I think the same, personally — IMO, Tari is a fantastic young player, but he’s nowhere near Bari at the moment.
