Rookie or not i struggle to believe that he'd do significantly worse than jalen if he's given chances. I feel like if he gets 35 mpg he averages 15 points but he also fares on the defensive side.

Lmao read it again, maybe try and sound out the words. It literally says clearly what the point is, which is that JG is not guaranteed a max extension based on his play to date, and that they need to figure out if he is worth the max fairly soon. If you really think that JG is guaranteed a max without question, then you are really a bottom tier poster on here.

Lmao Bullock, Jeff Green and Tate too. We really miss Tari Eason rn especially on rebounds. Now would be a good chance to see what Cam can do.

I can see Cam being the reason we move on from Jalen Green after his 4th season

Jalen Green is one the best Drivers to the Basket in the NBA. Let Him Learn, He is 21 years old.

Players on the Rockets need Experience against Teams and Learn from New Coaches.

Jalen hasn't shown any indication of becoming a good NBA player in the past 2 full seasons and the start of this season.

I am rooting for Jalen and he still has 2 full seasons to develop under Ime but it hasn't been good.

Getting to the FT line is his strength. He needs to get bigger, so he can finish through contact and not get pushed around on defense. He also needs to improve his control and declaration to become a more efficient scorer.

Objectively untrue. His issue is he hasn't shown any indication of becoming a Top 20 or 30 player. But a good NBA player he easily will be. And even if he tops out as Tyler Herro in his prime that's still good enough to keep around. Hoping he does more but we shall see.

The question boils down to - Does Jalen add wins?

I think the short answer is - No.

Lol Tyler Herro is in a different league than Jalen, I would love Herro to be our 2 guard. Dude is a 50/40/90. Jalen will never be that kind of shooter. His efficiency sucks and I will always wonder how we would look if we drafted Evan Mobley instead regardless of him dodging our work outs.

Anyways Jalen is our guy, and I will continue to root for his success but he has yet to pass the eye test and players like him come and go all the time in the nba

Do you guys see Cam as a 2? I think that's why we keep talking about Jalen

I want to see him at 2,3 and small ball 4. But I guess not in his 1st year.

Cam can be a great finisher off of Alperen, but he’s no savior. Don’t delude yourself guys, we just plain suck.
Other than Dillon the other veterans that we brought are tracking below my expectations. Alperen has been good but not good enough to get us a W, not at that highest level. Jalen has shown nothing. Amen is lost and stressed, as expected. Jabari is also lost and stressed, which is quite disappointing…

I don’t see 19 yo Cam Whitmore coming in on a White Horse to save us…
