I fully expect the other teams to play the Rockets younger players harder on Defense.....

    1. The Rockets are established now, teams are going at them harder.
    2. The way the Rockets play other teams, those teams are not stupid, they return the favor if they can.
    3. Like Dillon circles other teams, the Rox games are getting circled.

yeah, he could cook a little bit, could easily get separation, could get a step on the defender, attracted attention... he had some skill.
My problem was that JG hunting and manufacturing his shots was just killing the team mojo.
The team was molded on Ime's vision: tough and serious, and that Fairy looked a bit like an implant...

Except for the fairy stuff that was a pretty good assessment. I think Jalen was doing what Ime asked and just didn’t have the skillset to pull it off. I think he evolves into a good shooting guard, but does will be more of a Robin or even a third option as time goes by.

And that style will never win anything important.

The eyeball test and the stats showed the team was better without Jalen Green. Literally everyone benefitted from him not being on the court. Hes a legitimately bad basketball player. Blowing by defenders on lottery teams doesnt change that. The fact that we got Durant for him and the next most frustrating player on the Rockets was just icing on the cake.
