Just need to exercise the ban hammer when people bring up "other players" in a thread dedicated to say....Cam Whitmore or Jabari Smith Jr or Amen Thompson. Sick of seeing this **** in every thread. I'd love nothing more than to talk about Amen Thompson or Cam Whitmore or Reed Sheppard and not have to sift through the same damn arguments about....someone else.
It must suck a lot to not even be able to enjoy the team you support having success because you don't like a particular player. I'm glad I support all of our players tbh, I'd hate having to watch people play who I loathed like these weirdos do.
Its mischaracterizations like this that start the bickering. What many of us dont like is a player that more times than not, stuns our success via bad play. Its only about a single player when that player stifle's our chances of winning and the success of the Rockets team. I too support all our players that help us win. If you want to support those that do not, that is your business. But quit trying to make it about player hate because its not.

In the middle of a 10 game winning streak a "Rocket fan" commenting about how we should wait for Jalen Green to fail which there are plenty of examples for shows their hand that they've become an obsessed hater because they can't enjoy in the moment fun times as a Rocket fan.
On a lesser scale they attacked Jabari and Aaron Holliday in the past. But none bigger or lengthy as their hatred for Green. There’s a difference between objective analysis and hateful words not backed by much evidence or knowledge.
The crazy thing is they actually think they're being "objective" with their nonsense. This dude's out here making threads trying to demonise people who actually support Rockets players without realising he posts about 10 times as much hate as the people who he's demonising post praise. It'd be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic.
Says the person who 1) openly calls Sengun fans "Sengtards", 2) can't wait for the day that Alperen is traded, 3) still thinks Jalen is better, and 4) never wastes an opportunity to trash on Reed Sheppard.
It's not about rooting for a single player. We all have our favorite players. That's fine. It's not even about doing bad analysis. Nobody is perfect and we are not experts. We are just fans talking basketball. What makes the GARM toxic is that some people are taking it too seriously and too personally. Lots of personal attack that has nothing to do with the issues discussed. And people get triggered too easily. It is true that single player fans or "haters" are more prone to such triggers. So we know who those posters are. And, the GARM would be much more reasonable if everybody just put posters like BBtheG8 on Ignore.
Nice revisionist history. Feel free to go back to year 1 when I bought a Sengun jersey and not a Green jersey because only Sengun had earned it. I hate Sengun's fans, I love Alpi. Also feel free to see where I only ever said I wanted to draft Reed Sheppard but thought it was stupid to pile ridiculous expectations of "CP3 with a more lethal shot" on a kid who only went that high because it was a super weak draft.
