    If Smith hits and everybody else matches projections, this lineup is on par with 2022 and just a tick below 2017. Good enough. But I do agree Smith and Rodgers (or whoever is at 2B and RF) need to hit for this to be a successful season.

    This lineup is nowhere near 2017. The 2017 team had a 121 wRC+ which is third highest of any team since 1980. The only two higher teams (excluding 2020 Covid Mets) are the 2019 Astros and the 2023 Braves.

    I guess you’re right, but only because several guys had career years in 2017. Player for player it’s closer.

    Is it Thursday yet!!! Super excited but DAM, the game on Thursday is an afternoon game and I will be at work so I will have to peek at the box score, wish it was prime time but I will take it...............Now I just need to get a Cam Smith jersey!!!

    So is Cam Smith officially on the Opening Day roster???
    Seems cloudy to me. Have not heard an official announcement either way. might have missed it.
